Episode 26

Song: Pretty's On The Inside

(Kari's POV) 

I walked out with Gatomon to the Numemon the giant stuffed teddy bear had been working half to death. I took off their chains one by one until they were all free. 

We walked out to another room and the Numemon bowed to me repeating, "Queen Kari" 

Mãnye and the others jumped from a balcony above us and landed in front of me. Tk and Sora were on their hands and knees but Mãnye looked like a knight bowed before her queen. 

"Queen Kari," Mãnye stated looking up at me with a wink. 

I giggled as Tk and Sora said, "Queen Kari?" 

I and Mãnye started laughing as she stood up and gave me a high five. The evil teddy bear, known as Warumonzaemon, crashed through the wall and jumped into the room. 

He said, "Hey you Numemon! Who cut you out of your chains?" 

I don't know why but I said, "I did", and started walking towards him. 

He yelled, "I'll squash you like a grape!" 

I got light headed and fell over. Gatomon digivolved to Angewomon. She attacked Warumonzaemon with Angemon and Garudamon. They drove him away and I stood up and a light shot out and went down a hallway. 

We followed it and it lead us to a tag and crest that were broken and Mãnye said, "The one that was lost! It's that new girl's tag and crest." 

Mãnye followed a trail before she grabbed her head and screamed. 

In a voice nothing like her own she said, "She was never meant to be Digidestined. Mãnye wanted to give her a chance but that was a mistake. I took care of the problem and sent her back to her world with a new non-abusive family. She will be safe and 'her' Digimon is back with its other half." 

Mãnye coughed and yelled, "I'm sorry!" 

She had a look of pure terror on her face. She looked around and her eyes landed on something above our heads. I looked up and saw the light. Mãnye ran over to it and stood right below it listening. I heard very faint directions as Mãnye led us. We reached a hallway and walked down it quickly.  

Mãnye jumped back and grabbed each of us as Machinedramon destroyed the floor below us as we were walking. Our Digimon caught us and Salamon digivolved all the way to Goddessmon. I saw Tai and everyone else and felt a huge smile spread across my face. Our Digimon brought us to the others and my smile fell away as I saw a Digimon fighting Machinedramon. 

Mãnye saw him too and yelled, "Andromon!"

This episode is way shorter than I would have liked but my laptop is going to die soon and I forgot my charger somewhere else.
