Switcharoo Part 1

Today's my birthday so have this. I've had this plot in the back of my head for a year, thought of it before the episode, Body swap.

Walking in a forest were Omar and Maya, after Dodgy decision they decided to actually hang out today like they used too. With Xavier gone, sides of the creek no longer existing it was time to let go and have forgiveness and acceptance again. "So, how has it been lately?"Maya asked to break the silence "It's been okay, I made better friends with the stump kids and they helped me meet and talk to other kids at the creek, but some kids are still mad at me from when I was the Green Poncho..."Omar sighed thinking back to Wolfgang being upset with him back at the candy bar for giving him a bald spot.

"Yeah, some people do hold grudges...But you can't force them to like you"Maya sighed back. "Yeah...". They started walking farther now together, they thought only trees, bushes and grass were in the forest but they were both proven wrong when they reached a small shop with an open sign hanging outside the door. Maya peaked through the small stained glass window and saw so many wonders and beautiful items to buy. "You brought money?"Maya asked turning to Omar, "Only a few dollars, why you wanna shop, cause we can shop..."Omar answered hoping this day wouldn't become only what he wanted to do he wanted to include stuff Maya wanted to do. "Thanks!"Maya almost cheered with delight and opened up the shop door and behind the counter was a tall auburn teenage girl arguing with the boy of her nightmares.

Xavier, they were so much in the argument that they didn't even notice they had customers. "It is not bad business! Moving this shop will be a hassle!"The girl shouted, "Hazel, you said you like making money how can you make money when this shop is in an empty forest that you have to walk far into to get to. Besides neighborhoods aren't very close to this shop"Xavier said standing by his claim also revealing the girls name. "So King Xavier suddenly knows everything about business?"Scoffed Omar to get the attention of the cashier.

Hazel and Xavier turned over to Omar and Maya stopping their arugment, Hazel felt her cheeks get hot in embarrassment feeling rather unprofessinal of her to have a faud with someone infront of custmers. "Oh! Welcome to my shop, Magic Wonders, magical wonders to sastifiy your needs"Hazel said. "If you need help just come to me or my assitant, Xav-".

"We already know him, sadly..."Maya said not wanting to hear her ex 'best friend's' name, Xavier hid an eye roll as Omar and Maya started looking around. "Xavier, do you know them?"Hazel whispered kneeling down to Xavier, "Ugh, I do, they're just people I don't hang out with anymore...It's stupid..."Xavier groaned. Meanwhile, Maya was kneeling down to look at the stuff at the very bottom and sees a two in one pack of friendship necklaces. Maya picked the ones with a moon cut in half. One necklace was a pearl white quarter moon and the other necklace was the other half of the necklace.

"Hey, Omar look what I found for us"Maya said getting up and showing the pack of necklaces, "Their friendship necklaces, I know we've just started hanging out again two weeks ago but these seem nice".

"No no, it's great, how much is it?"Omar asked, "It's $15, I got $10 and you got $11". "So we just split the change, c'mon let's pay"Omar said then walked with Maya to the front counter to pay, Hazel was the one to be Omar and Maya's cashier cause they didn't trust Xavier.

Both Omar and Maya walked happily out the shop with their, friendship necklaces, Omar unpacked the necklaces for him and Maya and they both put it on. Maya smiled looking at the necklace around her neck, just by having the beautiful jewerly around her collar bone she felt closer and more like friends with Omar. "We finally have friendship necklaces!"Omar and Maya cheered putting their moon necklaces together making it now look like a full moon.

After that, they both had to go home for the day for dinner, when Maya was getting closer to her home she stared up at the gibbous moon thinking of her new necklace. "Full moon soon probably..."Maya thought to herself and started looking ahead again.

2 days later

Maya opened her eyes just waking up in the morning, she blinked and sat up. She looked at her bedroom wall expecting a shelf of books she finished reading on her purple wall but instead the bedroom wall was grey with stickers on it and a Gorillaz poster. Maya rubbed her eyes to make sure she wasn't seeing things, after a few seconds she began to reconize the poster, it was a poster in Omars room.

Her eyes moved to the corner of the room, various of action figures in an old toy box half opened. She smirked seeing their names carved on the side of the toy box. But, she realized she had to put aside and figure why she's in Omar's bedroom. She climbed out of bed and looked around the room, "How did I get in here? Am I dreaming?"Maya thought to herself having a hand on her cheek she walked out the room and looked around outside of Omar's room. In the living room she heard Omar's old sister giggling with her husband.

Maya kept quiet as she tip toed to the bathroom, she locked the door and splashed face with water to wake herself up. Maya looked up as water dripped from her face, she couldn't believe what she saw in the mirror.

In mirror wasn't herself, but Omar. Was she now living Omar's life? Maya's eyes widen in horror, she knew she couldn't scream so she placed her hands on her face in panic, or more like Omar's face.
