Upon opening the door, the goddesses saw a rock cave that formed perfect steps leading down, and next to it, a small stream of crystal clear water flowed down.

Ruby and Tía Dalma began to go down and as they descended, the place was expanding, the rock was darkening, the stream was turning into a river of reddish waters and the temperature was increasing.

When there were no more steps left, a large underground landscape with dark gray rocks and stones was seen; rivers, waterfalls and lava lakes; and many souls of people who had died. Both goddesses were shocked by that landscape.

Ruby: I didn't imagine anything like this.
Tia Dalma: I didn't imagine it so dark.

While observing all the souls that were in the Hell of the Caribbean, Ruby managed to recognize the soul of a man whom she had not seen for a long time. She then called out to him, and when he ignored her, she ran towards him yelling his name. But not only did he not notice Ruby's presence, but also when she wanted to hug him, she went through his body as if it was a hologram. Tia Dalma then approached her and forced her to take a pill that she brought.

Tia Dalma: Flame! Come here right now! (Grabs her from her arm) Leave Francis for a moment.
Ruby: He doesn't see me! He doesn't know I'm here!... I can't even touch him!
Tia Dalma: (Ignores Ruby's words and takes the pill from her pocket) Open your mouth.
Ruby: What is this for?
Tia Dalma: Just open your mouth. (Puts the pill in her mouth)
Ruby: (Disgusted) What is this?
T

ia Dalma: Just swallow! I'm also taking one.

Ruby: Do you at least have water?
Tia Dalma: Do you really think we can have water in this place? Just swallow without thinking in the flavor. (Puts a pill in her own mouth)

When they swallowed the pill, both goddesses felt a strange sensation and suddenly, all the souls that wandered around the place turned to see Ruby and Tia Dalma. Among them, the only one who got close was that man Ruby had tried to get close to: Francis Evans.

Francis: (Approaching) Ruby?
Ruby: Father?
Francis: Daughter! (Hugs her)
Ruby: (Answers to the hug) It's you! I thought I was never going to see you again!
Francis: You're very big now. You've changed a lot.
Ruby: I'm sorry! It's my fault that you are here right now!
Francis: No, is not your fault that the house got in fire.
Ruby: It is my fault.
Francis: (Looks doubtfully at Tia Dalma)
Tia Dalma: (Nods confirming Ruby's guilt)
Francis: (To Ruby) It doesn't matter if it is your fault or not. I just want to know why you're here? What happened to you? Did Marianne hurt you a lot?
Ruby: Well, yeah, she hurt me a lot. But it is not her fault that I am here. Actually, I'm not here because of what you think.

Francis: (Confused) You're not... dead?
R

uby: (Shakes her head)
Francis: So how did you manage to enter these lands?

Ruby spent a long time thinking about what words would be the most comfortable to explain what she had assumed not many years ago. Until Tia Dalma dared to break the silence as she usually did.
