Chapter LII

Jack: Apple Pie!
Ruby: (Disappointed) Hi Jack.
Jack: I missed you so much! (Hugs her)
Ruby: (Without responding to the hug, sees every detail of the ship stuck in the sand) I see you haven't been able to free the Black Pearl.
Jack: I still have it with me. (Takes from his jacket the jar with the little shop inside)
Ruby: Do you still have my beautiful flower?
Jack: I protect it more than a gold coin. It's my most precious treasure I've got on board.
Ruby: (Looking at the ship stuck in the sand) And probably the only one as well.
Jack: I miss the ocean, Apple Pie.
Ruby: And I miss my Lotus Flower. I want it back, Jack, please.
Jack: It's also still inside of its bottle.
Ruby: I'll see what I do with it.

Jack went down to the cellar of the ship to look for the Lotus Flower. Ruby, while she waited, turned to face the beach and saw how Sparrow's pirates walked away across the sand in the opposite direction of the ship.

《When Jack is back》
Jack: Take it, Apple Pie. (Gives her the ship on the bottle)
Ruby: (Recieves the bottle)
Jack: Do you have any idea how to get the ship out of there?
Ruby: Not yet. But I'm gonna ask Hades. He probably knows something.
Jack: And...
Ruby: (Interrupts) Before you go on with anything...
Jack: Aye?
Ruby: Where are all your men going?
Jack: I... I dismissed them.
Ruby: You dismissed them or they abandoned you?
Jack: I...

uby: It has been hard for you to get treasures and have a pirate life, hasn't it?

Jack: (Nods) But at least I'm not alone. I'm with you.
Ruby: What makes you think I'm gonna stay?

ack: But... you love me, don't you?
Ruby: Of course I do. But even if I wanted to, I couldn't stay. I... I'm a prisoner and I took advantage of a small oversight of the captain to come to see you. But I have to get back if I don't want that man to hurt me. Or hurt you.
Jack: Who has you as a prisoner?
Ruby: A Spanish man.
Jack: Some of those we saw years ago at the Fountain of Youth?
Ruby: (Denies) Old enemy of yours, Jackie.
Jack: What's his name?
Ruby: I can't give you too much information. The only thing I can tell you is that you're also in danger.They're looking for you.
Jack: That is more than clear to me. (He pulls a "Jack Sparrow wanted" sign out of his pocket)
Ruby: But you don't know who is that person that wants to see you suffering.
Jack: Who is it?
Ruby: I have to go, Jack. (Approaches the bow of the ship to fly away)
Jack: Wait! Ruby!
Ruby: I already told you that I can't tell you anything more!
Jack: I don't need you to tell me. (Aproaches to Ruby) I want to give you my last and only treasure I've found.

Jack pulled the only gold coin he had managed to get from the bank robbery out of his pocket and handed it to Ruby.

Ruby, after accepting the coin, without saying a word, hugged and kissed Jack before transforming into a phoenix and flying off towards the sea.

Ruby, in her phoenix form, returned to the Devil's Triangle to reunite with her captor so that he would not harm, mainly Jack, although she knew she wouldn't achieve that much.

《At Devil's Triangle》
Salazar: So you decided to come back, lil devil.
Ruby: You know all I want is for you not to hurt Jack.
Salazar: You're smart. But not enough. You know that pirate won't survive.
Ruby: (Sighs trying to ignore) Did little Turner leave?
Salazar: Of course he did. He went straight to do what I told him to do.
Ruby: How do you know that he went to that and that he did not take advantage of escaping from you.
Salazar: Considering my situation, I have no choice but to trust.
Ruby: Let me follow him to make sure he follows your orders. I'll do it in the most discreet way possible so that he doesn't notice that I am behind him.
Salazar: And how do I know that this time you are not going to escape?
Ruby: Didn't you notice what just happened? I had the opportunity to escape but I came back instead.
Salazar: In case your intention really is to spy on him, he would still notice your fire. You are a phoenix.
Ruby: You know perfectly well that I can transform. It's you who ask me every time to do it. Also, the first time we met, and you killed my entire crew, I was in my human form.
Salazar: Do you want to show it to me?
Ruby: If I'm honest, no, I don't want to show it to you.
Salazar: Don't be like that with me... (Raising the pitch of your voice) ...Lil Devil.
Ruby: (Angrily, turns into her human form)
Salazar: (With a softer voice) Good girl. (Grabs her from her waist) That's how I like it.
