《At the woods》
After leaving the shack and run to the woods, Ruby, tired from running so much, decided to lie down by the river in an area full of trees. After about half an hour, Tia Dalma approached her without Ruby noticing at first.

Tia Dalma: I knew you'd be here.

Ruby, hearing Tia Dalma, turned to see her scared since she was not expected her to approach like that.

Tia Dalma: Any ordinary human being would think it is ironic that a being that lives aroun fire always likes to be near water.
Ruby: Don't ever scare me like that again.
Tia Dalma: I'm sorry. It wasn't my intention to scare you.
Ruby: It's something common in you to scare people?
Tia Dalma: I never do it with that intention.
Ruby: What are you doing here? Why you? You know we barely know each other.
Tia Dalma: I know you pretty well.
Ruby: But I don't know you. Why should I trust you? Despite your help, Jack was still attacked by the Kraken.
Tia Dalma: Jack didn't follow my advices.
Ruby: That doesn't matter anymore. I just want you to give me just a little reason to trust you.
Tia Dalma: With me you could talk about thing only gods would understand.
Ruby: I don't even understand about the divine world.
Tia Dalma: (Sits next to Ruby) How much longer do you intend to remain sad over the loss of Jack Sparrow?
Ruby: I'm not sad just because of that.
Tia Dalma: Are you like that also because of the loss of your power?
Ruby: That is the least.
Tia Dalma: So?
Ruby: I've struggled all my life to try to... to live. And when I feel that I am achieving what I always wanted, my life goes back to the beginning.
Tia Dalma: What do you mean with that?

uby: What I am living right now, I have already experienced in the past.

Tia Dalma: Are you saying it because of your father's death?
Ruby: And because of my own death as well.
Tia Dalma: I see you alive.
Ruby: For me, losing my power, is like losing part of my life.
Tia Dalma: And why do you say this is repeating?
Ruby: You know too much to don't know what my mother did to me thirteen years ago. I guess you knew why I needed to pay to Davy Jones.
Tia Dalma: I would prefer to listen to the original version. From your own point of view. Why do you feel that what you are living you have already lived it before?
Ruby: It happens that... years ago... I lost the person I loved the most. He made me feel happy. My father was really good to me. And now... I just lost Jack Sparrow. The person who until yesterday made me feel happy. He was the one I loved the most. You know, I had already put aside that until one of my last days living in Port Royal, there was a lot of time when I thought about taking my own life. When I was sailing with Jack, I thought how can I ever think of something as stupid as ending my life. But I made sense of it again, first, with the stabbing and kicking I received from Davy Jones; and even more so when I saw how the Kraken took that man who saved me from suffering. That man who from the first day I saw him, even knowing that he was a persecuted pirate condemned to hang, I knew, just by looking into his eyes, that he would be the person who would make me happy.

Ruby took a bottle of rum from a bag she had hung by her belt and started drinking. Tia Dalma, seeing that Ruby had drunk almost half of the bottle in a single sip, tried to calm her down.
