《In Whitecap Bay at dawn》
When the crew of the HMS Providence arrived at the beach, they saw corpses of the magical mermaids.

Groves: Lord. Is that...?
Ruby: Mermaids.
Barbossa: (To Ruby) So the goddess is still here. For a moment I though you were going to abandon us.
Ruby: I don't like breaking promises.
Barbossa: (Looking at Johari) Who is she?
Johari: I'm Johari. I was a pirate on the Lotus Flower. You can trust me.
Barbossa: I hope so.
Gibbs: (Seeing the corpse of some mermaids speaks to Barbossa) Give up this madness now.
Barbossa: I cannot. Ever walk on the beach, look back and see your footsteps in the sand? It's like that, except the footsteps lie before me.
Groves: Footstep, actually. Whitecap Bay, sir. We must hasten.
Barbossa: One last thing before going on! Ruby, was your theory correct?
Ruby: (With defiant voice) Can I know which theory?
Barbossa: Was Blackbeard and his crew in this beach?
Ruby: Who do you think caused all this massacre if not?
Groves: A second reason to go hasten!
Ruby: And I can give talk a third reason if you want. They captured a mermaid.
Barbossa: Let's go!

Suddenly, the sailors who were on the beach heard screams coming from the HMS Providence and realized that it was being attacked by real mermaids.

Barbossa: We travel by foot. Gibbs, I require a heading.
Groves: But, sir, the men.
Barbossa: They be dead already.
Groves: They don't sound dead.
Barbossa: Oh, is that so? Well, I hear nothing but seagulls nesting. (Threatening with his gun) What is it that you hear, Mr. Groves?
G

roves: (To not die at the hands of Barbossa, but angry) Seagulls... nesting. Nothing more.

Barbossa: Heading, Gibbs?
Groves: (Sees the ship sink) My God.
Barbossa: (Threatening Gibbs) Your head or my heading. I'll have me one or t'other, I don't care which.
Gibbs: (Starts walking to give the heading)
Groves: All hands, forward!

Meanwhile, Blackbeard and his crew were carrying the mermaid they had captured in a glass case filled with water where the mermaid could barely fit into. Jack, was took blindfolded so he couldn't see the way.

Blackbeard: It's to you now, Sparrow. (Takes him off the blindfold)
Jack: Was that really necessary?
Blackbeard: Best you not know the exact whereabouts of my ship. I be a cautious man.
Jack: So be I. (Opening his compass) What I want first... is Ponce De Leon's ship. (Starts walking towards the compass' heading)

《In a swampy area of the forest》
Scrum: (Helping to carry the box that had the mermaid) Why is it we've got to bring her along?
Angelica: Because tears don't keep. We need them fresh.
Jack: What is the ritual again? Water from the Fountain and a mermaid's tear?
Angelica: And two silver chalices. One cup with a tear, one without.
Jack: So, one with a tear and water in both? Quite complicated, is it not?
A

ngelica: Both get water. One gets a tear. The person who drinks the water with the tear gets all the years of life from the other.

Jack: How many years? (Sees a snake in the swampy lake) Whoa.
Angelica: (Grabs the snake) All the years that they have lived,... (Bringing the snake closer to Jack) ...and they could have lived, if fate had been kinder. (Throws the snake back to the water)
