Chapter LXXVIII

Jack and Gibbs were looking at the decorations in the living room while drinking rum and water respectively.

Johari, with a glass of water in her hand, read the titles of the books on a shelf one by one.

Meanwhile, Elizabeth was in the kitchen and Henry looked suspiciously at the pirates, with Johari being the one he trusted the most.

After a few minutes, the door rang and Henry ran to open it to find his partner accompanied by a girl with light brown hair, hazel eyes and a green dress that matched the color of her eyes.

The pirates couldn't help but look at both girls who had arrived, and both girls were surprised to see the pirates inside the house.

Henry: (When he opened the door and saw his partner) Carina! Dear! I'm glad you're back. My mom has dinner almost ready. (•••) How's everything going?
Carina: I had to come with Juliana. She's been having lots of problems in her house lately.
Juliana: Do I bother if I stay for a while?
Henry: Of course not. You know you can come every time you need. My mom won't have any problem putting one more plate on the table.
Juliana: Thank you very much.
Henry: You're always welcome here. (To Carina) As for you, Cari, I have a small favor to ask you.
Carina: What would that small favor be?

Hearing that, Jack approached, Gibbs without moving from his place watched the scene, and Johari listened to the conversation while pretending to read a book.

Jack: (When getting next to Carina) Actually, lil' witch, that favor would be for me.
Carina: Sparrow! (Seeing the other pirates) Gibbs? Johari? Watcha doing here?
Jack: That's what I came for. To explain what we do and what we need from this ugly place.
Juliana: (A little bit scared) Pi-pirates?
Jack: (To Juliana) How beautiful eyes you've got. Do we know each other?
Juliana: (With a shy voice) I try not to relate with pirates.
Jack: That's weird. Those eyes of yours look very familiar to me.
Juliana: You're probably thinking about another person.
Jack: You sure?
Juliana: (Nods with a shy look)
Jack: Whatever. What's important right now is that I need your help. (Points to Carina)
Carina: What do you need, Sparrow?
Jack: Do you remember something you told me a couple of years ago?
Carina: I told you many things a couple of years ago.
Jack: Let me be a little more specific. A valuable writing that you have. About a divine being.
Carina: I know what you're talking about, Sparrow. But for that you have to ask the owner of the house if we can go to the library.
Jack: (Looking at Henry) Can we?!
Henry: (As an affirmation) I know how it feels to be far away from someone you love. (To Juliana) Are you coming, Juli?
Juliana: (Nods with a little smile on her face)

When they heard the word library, both Juliana and Johari turned to see who was speaking as they both enjoyed books and reading.

In the library, everyone sat at a table so they could analyze the book they were looking for.

Juliana, still not trusting the pirates, grabbed a book from a shelf and sat on a cushion on the floor to read it.

Carina started looking for the book in the letter G taking into account that the book was about a Goddess, but she couldn't find it.
