Bakugo knew that Izuku had always had trouble with his body. He was always in pain somewhere, always sitting out, always had a headache. It was always something.

When Bakugo was younger it made him a bit irritated because he thought it was just Deku not wanting to play with him.

But as they grew up, it only got worse. Bakugo saw something really serious was going on. Izuku missed so much school because of migraines and doctors appointments and Bakugo never found out what was wrong until they were closer in highschool, and dating.

But he didn't find out the easy way, he found out on a bad day.

A day when Izuku had seemed really tired and upset, so Bakugo set up a small movie date for them. And everything was going fine, Bakugo was especially happy when Izuku fell asleep on his shoulder.

Eventually he fell asleep too.

But he woke up soon after to a sound. He groaned and sat up, only to find Izuku crying next to him.

"Hey hey, what's wrong?" Bakugo asked, immediately awake.

"It hurts." Izuku sobbed.

"What hurts? What happened?" Bakugo asked.

"My back." Izuku said with a hiccup, "and neck and head and everything hurts."

"Okay, okay" bakugo said, "you're gonna be okay. Is this just- just another thing that hurts or did something happen?"

Izuku heald up one finger, referencing the first option.

"Okay deep breaths. Breath with me." Bakugo said calmly, sitting now next to him and holding his hand. Izuku weakly squeezed back.

"Does it hurt any less now?" Bakugo asked after Izuku had calmed down.

His response, "no." Wasn't encouraging.

"Can you grab me 3 Aleve?" Izuku asked. Bakugo furrowed his eyebrows and grabbed him 2 of the pills, "you aren't supposed to have 3. Let me get you some water."

Izuku took the pills and swallowed them dry. It was around 4am.

"Ready to go back to sleep?" Bakugo asked.

Izuku nodded.

But Izuku didn't fall back asleep that night. He was exhausted. He had a migraine that had burrowed into his skull so deep it wouldn't go away, even with Aleve.

When Bakugo's alarm went off, Izuku could barely move to turn it off. Bakugo got it first.

Izuku pushed himself up and out of bed, nearly collapsing as he stood up. He felt sick to his stomach, his head hurt so bad.

He wandered over to his desk and poured 3 Aleve into his hand, swallowing them dry. He felt worse than he did last night. His body hurt so bad.

He stood over his desk, hands firmly placed on the surface as his legs and hips ached and cramped. He considered getting out his crutches, he knew they would really help, but he didn't want people to know how much pain he was in. He didn't want Katsuki to know he was weak.

Bakugo got up and stood next to him, "Izuku are you okay?" He asked, "you look like you're about to hurl."

It was at that moment that the pain got so bad his legs gave out. He fell, but Katsuki cought him.

"Woah woah, this seems really serious. I'm taking you to Recovery Girl." Bakugo said. Izuku struggled to get out of his arms, "no no. No I'm fine. I'm fine."
