Merry Christmas!
A little late bc I'm so tired and I just watched stupid Christmas movies instead of writing, which is what I wanted to do so it's fine

Denki Kaminari was a bit of a clutz. This was a known fact, but he was more put together than most people thought.

Due to the nature of his quirk, Denki loved tinkering with electronics. Christmastime was his favorite time of year. He got to be so helpful finding where Christmas lights were shorting and knowing how to fix them.

This year though, Denki was stuck in the dorms for Christmas with the entirety of class 1A.

It wasn't ideal, but they were making do. Everyone was a little down about it though, lots of people were missing their families. They were just kids after all, none of them had ever been away from their parents for so long.

Denki really wanted to do something to cheer the class up, so the second classes got out, he was sprinting out of the classroom to get to work.

He'd ordered boxes of different colored Christmas lights and wires to set them up on. Instead of paying attention in class he'd been mapping out circuits to wire a magnificent Christmas light show outside the dorm.

His exams had suffered for it, but when he finally got to working on it, it was beyond exciting. He was completely fixtated on his work, and did almost nothing else for days.

His quirk was exhausted, but this was great training for him. Using his quirk over and over to test the circuits, but forcing himself to stay smart and figure out problems as he went along was a phenomenal way to increase his personal endurance.

By Christmas day, his quirk was truly exhausted, but everything was in order. All it would take was a big, consistent bolt by him to keep the system running long enough to do it's loop. Then he could turn it off and if the class wanted to see the performance again, they could plug it in while he napped.

The event took place after Christmas dinner, primarily made by Bakugo. Denki made sure to eat his fill (he had to sustain himself so his quirk could be as strong as he could manage after all). Then he invited everyone out to stand in front of his masterpiece.

He got everyone to standing in the right spot in front of a daunting metallic structure that didn't look up to code on almost anything. Denki ran over to the side of it excitedly and grabbed the ends of two thick, exposed copper wires, smiling wide.

"Ready?" He asked, though his whole body was tugging towards the ground in exhaustion, his heart was racing in excitement.

He loved gift giving, and this was the greatest gift he ever tried to give. He couldn't give up now, no matter how tired and overworked he'd made himself. This was his moment! None of this hard work could be put to waste.

The class cheered in response, and Denki took a breath before illiciting a large amount of electricity. It surrounded him in a way that was reminiscent of Dragon Ball Z characters. A second later the wire sculpture clicked on and illuminated the class in front of it.

The work was a grid of squares that played a pixilated light animation of each one of his classmates in a Santa hat, each with their own unique little animation. Bakugo had explosions, Kirishima was flexing his muscles, Midoriya had little green lightning bolts, and the list went on. Each one of his classmates had a unique animation that suited their personality and quirk. The that went into programming the lights to do that was a number Denki wasn't sure he was smart enough to tally at this point.

After all of the animations were done,  the wiring all around the screen lit up into a magnificent show of lights that framed the main screen in brilliant warm whites and golds, then shifted to new colors to create pure Christmas magic.
