(WOAHHHH THANKS FOR 100K READS)
Izuku stared at his test, thinking vaguely about the first question written, the gears in his head beginning to turn before every thought process came to a halting stop.
His whole consciousness was replaced with a skull splitting headache. He resisted an audible groan and any visual reaction as the pain stabbed behind his eyes and shook up his stomach.
It was horrible.
He was prone to migraines, but usually he could feel it coming. Usually he had a little bit of a headache before, something to warn him of the upcoming pain. But this time? Nothing.
He sank deeper into his seat, staring blankly at the first question still, no longer aware the test was even in front of him, too busy trying to stay upright and conscious. His vision was blurring and spinning strangely, his peripherals were fading and he felt like he was sitting on pins and needles.
His head hurt so severely and his stomach was twisting and turning like he'd never experienced before.
He didn't feel good at all.
Thankfully, someone had noticed his discomfort and was carefully approaching Izuku's desk, not that he was aware enough to notice.
Aizawa knelt down and tapped Izuku's desk lightly, "what's wrong?" He asked.
Izuku looked over to him blankly, his face pale and his mouth hanging open awkwardly as he willed away nausea.
"Headache." He managed, blinking slowly as the pain swelled. He physically cringed, his face morphing into that of complete discomfort.
Aizawa furrowed his eyebrows, "when did you get the headache?" He whispered, knowing they were speaking in a testing environment.
"Just now." He said shortly, clamping his mouth shut tightly afterwards, biting the insides of his cheeks and trying to hold back the gag that came after his sentence.
Aizawa followed him as he stood up and stumbled towards the door, supporting him as made his way there, grabbing the trashcan for him and leading him out into the hallway.
"Everything is blurry and ringing." He whimpered, reaching for the trashcan as he gagged.
"Okay.. okay. Let's go down to the nurse." Aizawa said, feeling that something was different here.
Usually the boy could tell, usually he could identify symptoms before the worst of his migraine had arrived. This wasn't normal.
Izuku slid down the wall and put his hands over his eyes, "everything's so b-bright." He stuttered as everything in his vision became purely streaky, blurry, bright colors.
Aizawa took out his walkie talkie and quickly called Recovery Girl to the hallway they were in.
Izuku then gagged again, vomit dribbling down his chin before he fully heaved.
Thankfully, Aizawa had the foresight to push the trashcan under his mouth the second he noticed a choking sound escape the boy.
Aizawa sat down next to the boy, rubbing his back as he vomited. With the other hand he waved Recovery Girl down as she approached them down the hall.
But it all happened so fast. The puking, then the collapse, then the seizing.
"Shit! What? Midoriya, kid?" Aizawa said as he moved the boy away from the wall and into Recovery Position, placing his scarf under his head so they could wait out the seizure.
"Aizawa tell me what happened." Recovery Girl demanded, doing what she could to determine what was happening.
"He had a really bad headache all a sudden, he seemed fine earlier." He said in a rush, his eyebrows bent in in confusion and worry, "he threw up, it's like a whole migraine just hit him in a couple seconds."
"Right, he's prone to migraines, sounds like a thunderclap headache which could be part of a neurological condition, did he have symptoms of a stroke?" Recovery Girl asked, "one side body weakness, any cardiovascular seeming issues?" She quizzed.
Aizawa shook his head, "I don't think so. I mean you can see he doesn't have a droopy side or anything."
Izuku stopped seizing and woke up a second later.
He groaned.
"My head..." He whimpered, trying to sit up.
"Okay, it's okay bud." Aizawa said, helping him up carefully, "is your headache still bad?"
"Yeah. Not as- as bad." He said, his jaw clattering as his whole body trembled, "I feel so weak. What's happening?"
"You had a seizure. We're gonna get you to the hospital and everything is gonna be okay. Alright? I promise." Recovery Girl answered.
"Can you stand?" Aizawa asked.
Izuku shook his head, "I'm too dizzy."
"Alright, I'll get the paramedics down here then. Hang in there, sweetie." Recovery Girl said, standing from her kneeling position beside him and speeding down the hallway to get him help.
Both Aizawa and Izuku wondered when she had called for them, but brushed it off.
"I promise you're gonna be okay." Aizawa said, rubbing his back as Izuku sat and breathed heavily.
Izuku nodded, "c-can I have a hug? I'm scared of- of what's happening and it all just h-hurts." He stuttered.
Aizawa pondered for a moment, he usually wasn't big on hugs.
"Just this one time." He said after a while and pulled the boy in.
Izuku let his head rest on his teacher's shoulder until the paramedics could help him out.
And through that hug, Izuku knew that whatever was wrong with him (he nor the author know) it would be fixed and everything would turn out alright.
