Arabella was laying in her bed, staring aimlessly at the ceiling, she didn't get a wink of sleep as everything that happened the day before was playing on her mind. Elena had told her after Stefan went to find Vicki, she fed which obviously completed her transition and now she was staying with the Salvatore's so Stefan could help her.
She managed to drag herself out of bed and hopped in the shower, letting the hot water run down her back. She had so many things playing on her mind, one been the eldest salvatore but no matter how many times she tried, she just couldn't shake him.
Once she was done, she got herself ready and headed down to the kitchen where Jeremy was pouring himself a mug of coffee "Hey Jer, you need a ride to school?" She asked him.
"Nope" He simply told her, picking up his bag and heading towards the front door "I'm gonna head to the police station, there's a search party for Vicki"
"You're not skipping school, Jer, if they find her they'll let us know" Arabella told him, she really hated lieing to him but what else could she do, she promised the Salvatore's she would keep their secret.
"Yeah you're mouth keeps moving and I don't know why" He told her, leaving the house and slamming the door shut behind him.
She was pouring her coffee into her travel mug when her phone went off, she glanced at the screen to see that it was a text message from Tyler.

"For fuck sake" she muttered to herself "why can't he just take the hint"
"Who needs to take a hint?" Elena asked her, coming into the kitchen making Arabella jump.
Arabella sighed before having a mouthful of coffee "Tyler! The dick just won't leave me alone" she told her "Anyway I'm heading to the boarding house to check on Vicki, you coming?"
"Yeah sure, I'll drive" Elena said.

Once they arrived at the boarding house, Elena jumped out the car and ran over to ring the doorbell, Arabella following behind. She waited a few moments until Damon opened the door, his famous smirk plastered on his face.
"Is stefan here?" Elena asked him rather rudely, which cause Arabella to roll her eyes.
"And good morning to you little miss I'm on a mission" he turned to Arabella "Good morning, Bella" He said, sending her a small smile. She gladly returned the smile.

"How can you be so arrogant and glib after everything you've done?" Elena asked him, completely ignoring their interaction. Damon glared at Elena.
"And how can you be so Brave and stupid to call a vampire arrogant and glib?" He asked her back.
"If you wanted me dead, I'd be dead she told him confidently "But I'm not"
"Yet" he told her. Elena took a step back, not so confident anymore. Arabella let out a little laugh and Elena nudged her in her ribs.
