Damon walked into the parlor and frowned at the sight of Lexi rocking out to Bon-Jovi playing full blast on his stereo. Stefan was slumped on the sofa, a half empty bottle of bourbon in his hand.

"Damon! Brother! Help me celebrate my seventeenth high school graduation!" He said holding up the glass bottle. "Hey, you remember my friend Lexi, right?"

Damon turned off the music. "Lexi, back from the dead. Goody!" He said sarcastically.

All of a sudden, Lexi was across the room, pinning Damon flush against the wall with her hand wrapped around his throat "What's up, buzzkill?" She said.

Damon turned his head as much as he could and raised his eyebrows at his younger brother. "Stefan, you just gonna sit there and let her enact her ghostly revenge?"

Stefan shrugged his shoulders. "You reap what you sow, buddy."

Lexi glared at Damon and squeezed a little harder. "Let's be very clear - whatever time I have left here, I sure as hell don't plan on wasting on you. You got me?"

Damon nodded, gasping for breath. "Yeah. Got ya." He said as Lexi released him. "So, if you and Ric and little Gilbert are all flesh-like and real-seeming, that means something went horribly wrong when Bonnie tried to put the veil back up. And here you two are, having dance party USA."

"You're right. How selfish of me to be indulging in these precious moments with my formerly dead bestfriend." Stefan said sarcastically. "I should be sacrificing my own happiness for the good of others, right? I should be upstairs grooming my hero-hair."

Damon furrowed his eyebrows, staring at his brother in confusion. "Are you drunk?"

"I don't know, mom. Am I?" Stefan joked as Lexi took the bottle from him and chuckled to herself.

Damon groaned and snatched the bottle from Lexi. "Okay... Well I guess that's one way to celebrate our supernatural apocalypse." He took a swig from the bottle. "Now care to hazard any guesses on what the hell went wrong?"

Bonnie was in the boiler room at the School, on the phone with Caroline who was manning the yearbook table in the hallway. "I hit kind of a snag." Bonnie told her.

"A snag? A snag is a bad yearbook picture. You hit a freaking tsunami, Bonnie. Where are you?"

Bonnie frowned. "I'm trying to fix it, but I'm running into some trouble. I need to wait until the full moon tonight to have enough powere to put the veil back up."

"Are you telling me that we might graduate right smack in the middle of a ghost-filled expression triangle?" Caroline questioned.

Bonnie glanced down at her body that was lying on the ground. Her grams was stood beside her, also looking down at her grandaughters dead body, sadly. "Maybe we should just cancel." The young witch looked up at her grandmother with tears in her eyes.

"No, we are not going to cancel. Graduation is the most important event of our lives, the last ceremony of our youth. It is our right of freaking passage! Hell will freeze over before I let anyone cancel graduation."

"Can you not make jokes about hell freezing over?" Bonnie said tearing her eyes away from her own dead body. "We're not that far off from that already." Bonnie said and Caroline let out a deep sigh.

"Just promise me that today is a friend day."

"Okay, I promise." Bonnie replied. "I love you."
