It had been a week since Bonnie had returned from the dead, since Stefan had killed Silas and Amara and Tessa had died. Arabella had been flitting from Whitmore College and The Salvatore Boarding House. The married couple never wanting to be too far away from each other for to long. She also didn't want Stefan to think she was abandoning him and even though he barely spoke to her, she always showed up for him.
She was currently lounging on her bed in the dorm room that she shared with Elena, Caroline and Bonnie. God, how she loved to say that Bonnie was officially her college roommate and she couldn't apologise enough for not realising that something was wrong sooner, considering the Bennett witch had disappeared for the entire summer, with the odd, strange email here and there.
The hybrid scrolled on her phone, checking her socials and taking random selfie's, wanting all the memories of their college days together before they graduated and went their separate ways.
Bonnie was recording a video on her phone to send to her Mom. "Hi, Mom. I know we haven't seen each other, or talked in a while... So I wanted to make you a video update. I finally finished my whirlwind summer tour, got a new 'do and, I'm in college at Whitmore, where Grams taught. And this is my dorm!" She paused and did a slow 360 view of the room, pausing at Arabella who was still flat out on her bed, waving at the camera.
"Hey, Mrs Bennett." Arabella called out.
"We're all roommates, Me, Elle, Care and Elena. How awesome is that!" The door flew open and Caroline and Elena enter the room. "Oh here they are. Hey, Guys! Say hi to my Mom." The duo waved excitedly. "They're planning me a welcome home party. Just something low-key. I miss you. Please come and visit when you get the chance. I'll, um, talk to you soon. Bye!" Bonnie hung up the phone.
"By the way, Mom. I'm not a witch anymore, because I died and then came back from the Other Side." Elena said with a smirk, mimicking Bonnie.
"Yeah, I'm this supernatural anchor that connects the two worlds together, so..." Caroline continued with her arms folded across her chest.
"Technically, I'm a ghost, that people can still see, and touch, so..." Elena finished as they both laughed.
"Okay, so I left out a detail... Or two. I'll explain when she visits." Bonnie looked around at all the decorations the two walked in with. "How big is this party going to be?" She asked changing the subject.
"Well, lets see...." Elena said with a excited grin. "Silas and Tessa are gone, and you finally aren't."
Caroline clapped her hands excitedly, jumping up and down. "Which equals a massive cause for celebration."
"Which equals a massive party." Elena continued. "Hopefully, I mean, since each of us have only made one friend in college so far...."
"And given that mine went radio silent after he kissed me, and yours was last seen at a tea party for a vampire-hating society." Caroline grumbled, her mood suddenly turning very sour.
"Hmm." Bonnie made a sound of acknowledgment and the two girls turned to her. "Augustine, right? The one who covered up your roommates death and wants you all kicked off from campus." Both girls continued that look with a confused frown. "What? I've kept up! The Other Side is boring. What else am I supposed to do."
Arabella jumped up from the bed and sauntered towards her section in the large closet. "All right. So, Augustine wants us gone. Who cares? It doesn't matter because it isn't gonna happen. We're moving on with our lifes, together, as functional vampires." She pointed at Elena and Caroline before pointing at Bonnie. "A former witch, anchor person and Me, the almighty Petrova hybrid, who still can't seem to gain control over her powers." She pulled out a bottle of Tequila from her suitcase. "Now, let's stop re-living the past. We have a party to get ready for."
