Fool Me Once

When Arabella awoke, she slowly opened her eyes and looked around in confusion. She immediately recognised that she was in Anna's motel room. She let out a groan as she slowly sat up from the bed, her head was pounding and her body felt heavy. Arabella blinked a few times until she noticed Ben McKittrick was fast asleep at the end of the bed.

She gasped loudly but suddenly a hand was placed over her mouth and wide brown eyes stared down at her. Arabella stared back at her sister and then turned her attention to a sleeping Ben before her eyes fixated on the door that wasn't to far away.

She gestured to Elena that they try and make their escape. Both girls slowly slid of the bed and with her breath held, Arabella stepped over the sleeping man's outstretched leg and tiptoed towards the front door. Elena glanced back at Ben before turning back to her sister but before they had chance to unlock it, a husky voice came from behind them.

"I wouldnt" Ben said which caused both girls to gasp in suprise and quickly turn to see Ben standing behind them. He inched closer to Arabella, staring into her eyes. "Don't try to escape, do you understand?" His eyes dilated as he tried to compel her.

Arabella nodded her head and Ben then turned to Elena and repeated the same actions "I won't try to escape"  Elena said in a monotone voice.

Ben sent them both a smug smirk, he was completely oblivious to the fact that his compulsion didn't work. Once his back was turned, Arabella quickly unlocked the door and opened it, pushing Elena outside "Go get help" Arabella yelled but before Elena could do anything she was pushed back into the room.

"Seriously" Anna snapped at Ben, pushing Elena and Arabella further into the room.

"I told them not to escape, I even did that eye thing you taught me" Ben told her.

"And did you forget all about vervain" Anna snapped again, shaking her head "They date vampires, Ben"

"I ain't dating no vampire, thanks" Arabella said as the dark haired vampire opened the bathroom door.

"Maybe not, but you want to" Anna teased pushing her and Elena into the bathroom, locking the door behind them.

Arabella slammed her fist onto the door but it was no use, she turned around and her eyes immediately widened when she caught the face of her bestfriend passed out cold in the bathtub.

"Bonnie" Arabella shouted, rushing forward and checking her pulse, she let out a sigh of relief when she noticed she was breathing.

"Anna took the twin's" Stefan announced, rushing into the salvatore library where Damon sat quietly looking through Emily Bennett's grimoire, trying to find the spell to open the tomb.

"Yeah I got that from your six hundred voicemails" Damon replied not looking up from the book infront of him.

"Damon please, all night long I've been searching for her" Stefan paused and Damon sent him a knowing look "Them, searching for them, what if your blood hasn't passed out of Bella's system?"

Damon clenched his jaw, jealousy and anger bubbling inside of him at the nickname, only he called her Bella. He turned to Stefan and composed himself "Well atleast we'll see her again" he said smirking at his brother. He was trying his hardest not to show it but he was acrually secretly worried about the Eldest Gilbert.

"Please" Stefan begged sitting across from his brother, who was completely ignoring him. He let out a frustrated sigh "Come on, Damon, just tell me what you know. You and Arabella was with Anna last night. You must know where she's staying. Just tell me so I can find them"
