Arabella was slowly walking down the middle of an empty, open road. Her face was completely emotionless. She stopped and looked around for a few moments before she dropped herself down to the ground and sprawled herself out on the cold, damp concrete, her eyes closed shut as she patiently waited for what she desperately wanted.
It didn't take long before a car slowly came to a stop a few feet away from the brunette's body. Arabella laid completely still as a woman exited the vehicle and rushed over to her. "Are you alright?" She asked as she crouched down next to her. "Was there an accident? Where are you hurt? Are you in pain?"
Arabella had to refrain herself from rolling her eyes at the repeatative questions coming from the women. "I feel nothing." She mumbled emotionless.
"I have a blanket in my car. Try not to move. I'll call for help." The unknown woman stood up and jogged over to her car. She popped open the trunk and retrieved the blanket. She turned around to go back, only to see Arabells standing right behind her, a sadistic smirk covering her plump red- painted lips, eyeing her hungrily.
"What are you doing?" The woman asked warily.
"You smell delicious." Arabella said before her face started to change. She stroked her tongue along her sharp, elongated fangs. "Let's see if you taste just as good." She growled ferociously before she bit down into the woman's neck, gripping on tightly to the back of her head as she sucked the blood from her trembling body.
"That's enough." Damon said as he walked over to the car, his hands stuffed inside his leather jacket pockets. Arabella ignored him and continued to drain the unknown woman. Damon gripped her arm tightly and pulled her away. "I said, that's enough." He said as he spun her around to face him. "We agreed no killing."
"This is the first person I've come across in days, whose blood isn't laced with vervain and I'm fucking starving." Arabella snapped, pushing him away.
"If you leave a trail of bodies, people are gonna start asking questions." He said back, stopping her from lunging towards the poor woman.
"I don't fucking care! I'll kill them too!" Arabella growled shoving him away again. She shoved him so hard, Damon stumbled back and fell onto the ground. She turned around and gripped the woman tightly, sinking her fangs into her jugular.
Damon, out of pure anger, jumped up onto his feet and rushed over to her. "You just royally pissed me off!" He growled before he wrapped his hand around her arm and yanked her away from the woman for a second time. "Show a little restraint."
Arabella let out an agitated sigh as glared at her husband. "Ughhh, I thought this was supposed to be oh so fun." She groaned before she pushed the woman's body towards Damon, who caught it with ease. He watched in agony as Arabella walked away with blood stains around her mouth and not a care in the world.
********
The next morning, the two brothers were stood in the middle of Damon and Arabella's bedroom, having a heated conversation about her behaviour over the last few days. Arabella was in the adjoing bathroom, showering, her head tilted to one side so she could listen to the brothers droning on and on.
"So, that's the plan? You're gonna take her back to school?" Damon questioned incredulously. "Do you think that's wise?"
"Well the fun route didn't exactly pay off, did it?" Stefan retorted.
Damon smiled, remembering how they had both fed from one person and he had got so turned on at the thought of them feeding together, he hadn't realised they had drained the poor woman dry. "Got a free meal out of it." He mumbled.
