History Repeating

Arabella's green eyes fluttered open and she was greeted with a pounding headache, caused by one to many shots last night. She groaned and turned to her side to see Matt Donovan sharing her bed. The memory of everything that happened the night before came flooding back and she let out a gasp. Mentally cursing herself for sleeping with her bestfriend.

She quickly shook him so he would wake up, he needed to go before anybody saw him. "Matt, you need to leave" Arabella whispered, he stirred awake and gasped lightly in suprise.

"Shit, Elle" he said as he lifted the quilt to see that he was completely naked.

"Look you need to leave before Elena see's you" Arabella told him.

He gave her a questioning look "Me and Elena aren't together anymore so I can sleep with whoever I want" He replied edging closer to her "maybe we could go for round two"

Arabella placed her hand on his bare chest stopping him from coming any closer "Nope most definitly not, last night did not happen! Besides sleeping with your sister's ex is not cool, now hurry up and get some clothes on" she whispered.

As if on que, Arabella's door swung open revealing a stressed out Elena. The naked pair froze in their spot. "Hey Elle you wont bel-" Elena paused horrified at the sight infront of her "Oh my god" she breathed out, turning away from them.

"Oh god, Le, I'm so sorry" Arabella rushed out, wrapping a sheet around her naked form.

"No no, its uh, it's fine I'll just meet you at school" Elena told her before exiting her room and shutting the door.

Once Matt had got dressed and left the Gilbert's, Arabella got herself ready and made her own way to school.

She was walking down the school halls making her way to her first lesson when she was ambushed by Elena, Caroline and Bonnie.

"You slept with Matt Donovan?!" Bonnie exclaimed whilst Caroline stood with her arms folded across her chest. She had a small crush on the Donovan boy but would never admit it.

"Shush" Arabella whispered looking around to make sure nobody heard her loud bestfriend before turning to face her twin "Elena" Arabella scolded "Why dya have to tell them?"

"Sorry, it just kind of slipped out" Elena stated.

Arabella flung her hands in the air "She can't keep a secret to save her life" she said pointing at Caroline.

"Hey" Caroline whined before storming away. Bonnie following behind

"Look Elena I'm really sorry I was really drunk I know he's your ex and it was a dick move but it just happened" She paused taking a breathe "Please forgive me"

Elena thought for a moment before a small smile perched on her lips "of course I forgive you, I wasn't really that mad to begin with. It was more of a shock"

Arabella let out a sigh of relief before linking arms with her sister and heading off to history. They walked into the classroom and took their seats. Elena glanced across, a look of confusion on her face when she noticed Stefan's seat was unoccupied. Just then the new history teacher entered the room. Arabella instantly drooled, he was very attractive.

"Good morning everyone" He said placing his bag down on the desk and scribbling his name down on the Chalk board.

"Alaric Saltzman, it's a mouthful I know. It doesn't exactly roll of the to tongue. Saltzman is of German origins, my family emigrated here in 1755 to texas. I however was born and raised in boston" He paused "Now the name Alaric belongs to a very dead great grandfather who I can't thank enough. You're probably going to want to pronounce it 'Ala-ric' but it is 'A-la-ric' okay? But you can call me ric, I'm your new history teacher"
