Brave New World

It was the day of Mystic Falls High School Carnival and Arabella, Bonnie and Elena were taking care of everything whilst Caroline recovered in the hospital. Elena couldn't help but notice the smile that has been permanently plastered on Arabella's face from the moment she left her bedroom this morning.

"Katherine looked just like you two, it was freakish" Bonnie commented as she was busy sorting out the Carnival prizes.

Arabella groaned, the smile slowly disappeared from her lips at the mention of her name "She is our ancestor" she muttered before she quickly changed the subject "Hey, I moved the student booth into the cafeteria"

"Your vampire ancestor and she didn't just resemble you like a family member would. She was you!"

"Look, I can't explain it OK. It's creepy, that's all I got now I can't sit here and worry about her because I've got to get these prizes to the ring toss" Arabella picked up the bag full of plush teddies and stormed away.

"Don't you think she was acting a little to happy before?" Elena questioned Bonnie whilst watching Arabella walk away from them.

"Elle is always happy" Bonnie replied sending the younger doppleganger a quizzical look "Would you rather she was miserable?" Elena just shrugged her shoulders and continued to sort through the stall prizes.

A while later Arabella was walking around, a proud smile graced her lips knowing how proud Caroline would be to see such a fantastic turn out.
"The ring toss is out of Bart and Homer dolls and team Jacob Ts" Bonnie spoke up from behind her which made the Gilbert girl jump out of her skin.

"OK, I can grab some from the science lab, also we lost a speaker in the karaoke room" Arabella rushed out, her green eyes glanced around "Hey, Where's Elena?" She questioned.

Bonnie slightly raised her shoulders "she mentioned something about Jeremy and goldfish" she shook her head "I'm not to sure".

Suddenly Bonnie's eyes looked directly passed the Gilbert girl and Arabella noticed, she followed her gaze to see that she was staring at a guy who was repairing one of the stands. Arabella smirked when an idea formed in her brain "Hey, Carter, Right?" Arabella questioned gaining his attention.

"That'll be me" He replied before his eyes found Bonnie's big, brown ones "Wow! What do you need beautiful?"

Bonnie felt her cheeks blush and she was very grateful that it was now dark outside so neither Carter or Arabella could tell "What do you know about karaoke speakers?" She asked sheepishly.

"Why don't you show me the problem?" Carter suggested in a flirtatious tone.

Arabella smirked and motioned encouragingly with her eyes "Yeah Bonnie, show him the problem" the brunette teased. Bonnie's cheeks flushed again but this time it was due to embarrassment.

Arabella chuckled to herself as she watched the Bennett witch walk away with Carter, she turned around to go find her lazy ass twin when she noticed Tyler arm wrestling with.. His uncle Mason.

'When did he get back into town?' She thought to herself before she sauntered over and joined the crowd. She watched in amusement as Tyler got his ass kicked "Woah! Go Mason" Arabella cheered loudly which gained the attention of Tyler's uncle, his head snapped in her direction and his eyes lit up when he saw her.

"If it isn't Arabella Gilbert" He said as he made his way over to her, he pulled her into a tight embrace before he pulled back and scanned her from head to foot "The last time I saw you, you were like this big" he commented holding out his hand to a much smaller height.

Arabella laughed "Well that's because I was twelve the last time you saw me" the pair continued to talk and Arabella didn't notice a certain vampire stood to the side burning holes in the side of their heads.
Damon was burning with Jealousy, this guy was clearly flirting with Arabella and it didn't sit well with him.
