Into The Wild

After a long and agonising flight, the group of travellers had finally arrived at the Island. Whilst the others unloaded their belongings from the boat, each person with varying expressions of uncertainty and curiosity, Arabella stood at the edge of the water, her gaze fixed on the blonde original who was looking at her with such hatred and betrayal.

"If you stare any harder, Bekah, I might just combust into flames." Arabella teased which caused the older Salvatore to chuckle lightly, a small grin on his lips as he sat on the beach sharpening a knife.

"You killed my brother, Elle. You're lucky all you're getting is the evil eye." She countered.

"Actually, It was Jeremy who killed your brother. I just lured him into our web of lies and if we are playing that game - You killed me first." Arabella held up her middle finger and the blonde used vampire speed to rush towards her. Arabella, with her quick reflexes, jumped up and held up her hand, sending the blonde to her knees, screaming in pain as she clutched at the side of her head.

"Elle, ease up." Stefan told her and Arabella lowered her hand.

It took Rebekah a few moments to pull herself together before she slowly raised to her feet and walked away, not wanting to anger the brunette anymore than she already had done.

After speaking to the nutty Professor, Damon approached Arabella with a teasing smile on his face. "Looks like someone forgot her team building exercises." He joked as he poked her in the stomache.

Arabella batted his hand away and huffed in annoyance. "I'm not apologising for not wanting her to be here. I feel bad enough as it is about killing Kol without her reminding me about it every god damn minute."
Damon gripped her chin and she allowed him to kiss her softly on the lips, momentarily distracting her from the blonde.

"Have I ever told you how super hot you are? Especially when you're been a bad ass witch bitch." He whispered against her lips.

Arabella slapped his chest playfully, trying to look offended, but failing miserably. "I'm hot all the time, thank you very much."

"That you are, my dear Wife." He said as he reached down and pecked her lips before she turned around and walked away, turning back to send her lover a cheeky wink, knowing full well he was watching her.

Bonnie was taking pictures of Jeremy's tattoo as Arabella made her way to them, she could feel the sexual tension coming off them in strong waves and it made her feel nauseous. "Sorry. If there was a less awkward way to do this, I would." Bonnie apologised as she continued to snap photos of his bare chest on her phone.

Jeremy shrugged, clearly unbothered. "Doesn't bother me."

"Yeah, well it bothers me." Arabella announced, her face filled with disgust as she approached her bestfriend and her brother. "Let's try and keep it PG, k." She said with a sickly sweet smile. "So, these symbols must have been left for the hunters? So they could find the cure?"

Bonnie nodded in agreement. "And this must be the story of Qetsiyah and Silas. According to Shane, Silas asked Qetsiyah for help making a spell for immortality. She helped make him immortal, only to learn that he planned to use the same spell on another woman and not her. When she found out, she freaked."

"So, Qetsiyah killed the other woman?" Arabella questioned and Bonnie nodded her head. "Sounds like something I would do and I'd have killed him too."

"Silas was immortal. She couldn't kill him." Bonnie replied shaking her head with a smile, knowing that is something Arabella would definitely do. "So, she trapped him in a cave, and buried him alive instead."

"Does it say anything about the Hunter's purpose in all this?" Jeremy queried.

"I was wondering when you'd ask." Shane announced as he walked up behind them. "Qetsiyah created a cure for immortality, and then she buried it with Silas, hoping that he'd take it and die, and end up on the other side with her for all eternity. But he wouldn't give her the satisfaction. So, many centuries later, her descendants made the hunters to find him, cure him and kill him. You know what? I'll explain on the hike. Come on, we gotta get going." He told them as he started heading off in the direction of the woods, the others following behind.
