Taking out the Nindroids were easy but as soon as he had overcome that obstacle, he could hear a rumble from down the hall. He dove through a hole in the floor, a singular rope held him suspended over the ground. He reached for the fake golden armor but failed. The stimulation ended.
"You got closer than I thought you would," Borg said as he and Sensei Wu walked over to him. "But then again, I didn't think you'd be quite so rough on my security droids," Borg continued as Lloyd grabbed the back of his wheelchair to help him.
"If I can't steal the golden armor, I'd be surprised if anyone else could. It's secure but where's the real one?" Lloyd asked.
"Some secrets are best kept safe," Borg answered.
"Lloyd, where are the other Ninja? I asked for all of you to take part in this test." Sensei Wu asked.
"Uh-they-uh-they really wanted to be here, but they-uh all had other plans," Lloyd nervously stammered. He frowned it had been weeks since his has seen (y/n). He missed her. Every morning he was up at dawn expecting her to be training or meditating but every day he woke up to a silent breeze. He had to admit it was dull without her around.
"I understand perfectly well, the loss of Zane has affected us all, I haven't even heard a word from my assistant, Pixal since his memorial, it's heartbreaking," Borg sighed
"If we dwell too long on what's missing, we fail to see what can be gained. The absence of Zane will either tear you all apart or bring you closer together," Sensei Wu eluded, "the choice is yours."
"I'll do what I can, but it won't be easy," Lloyd replied."
"The greatest lessons never are."
~~~***~~~
Jay had a show
Cole had become a lumber jack
Kai had taken up underground fighting
All of them had refused and the last one on the list was (y/n). Lloyd had to admit he was nervous. It had been too long since he had seen (y/n) and according to his father and Sensei Wu she was undergoing a challenge of the Master of Wind.
Mount Windsor.
Ninjago's infamous peak that was famous for dragging many adventurers to their deaths, a Mountain (y/n) had to scale. He was scared of making the journey to the village. He was scared of walking in and told that (y/n) was shredded on the cliff face.
He stopped his bike in the middle of the road. The way was blocked by the thickest fog he had ever seen. It was like the clouds were too heavy to fly. They were certainly too thick to see through and according to his gps the village wasn't too far away.
A horn blared at him. A truck swerved past him and continued into the fog. He managed to catch a glimpse of the logo on the side. Chens Noodle House. He wondered what they could be doing so far out of town.
If a truck could get through the fog, then so could he. He drove into the thick blanket of air but after a few seconds of driving he found himself turned around. He knew something was wrong. He braced himself as a sharp gust of wind blew by. With a whoosh the truck was flung from the fog and overturned, crushed and destroyed. The drivers crawled out just before it was split in half. He watched them scurry away screaming. He stared at the wall of fog. "(y/n)! It's me! Lloyd!" he yelled into wind.
But it was silent and still. The fog didn't lift, it was like he was ignored brushed off. He had hoped that maybe it was (y/n) who had discarded the truck. His next question was why? Why would (y/n) attack innocent people. He knew something was going on.
