The morning air was fresh and sweet. A little over a month had passed and everything was bliss. (y/n) believed that the worst was behind them, she was more like hopeful thinking, knowing Ninjago but for once she enjoyed the breeze swaying, magically blowing past wind chimes, making a symphony with the songs of the morning birds.
(y/n) took a deep breath as she stepped off the wooden porch of the monastery, she had enjoyed a light meal of porridge and fruit. She usually wouldn't eat before training but to meditate, simply enjoying the calm, called for a break in her routine.
She froze.
There was a twist in her stomach. She bolted as a wave of nausea hit her. She had managed to make it to the bathroom in time to hurl her breakfast into the toilet bowl. It was miserable, she hated the feeling of being sick... (y/n) couldn't remember the last time she was sick, when her stomach finally decided to give her some relief she stood up, she felt her body sway and she landed her hand against the wall to stop her from collapsing.
(y/n) staggered into the living room and flopped onto the couch. She felt absolutely miserable l, she ran a hand through her hair as she complained to herself, she enjoyed her breakfast, not so much throwing it back up. She draped her arms across her arms to block the light that filtered through the windows, she hoped that she would feel better if she laid down a little.
Someone gently flopped on her laying his head on her chest, "this looks like tough training," Lloyd teased as he wrapped his arms around her.
"It's a new form of mediation I like to call a nap," (y/n) chuckled, she ran her hands through Lloyd's blonde locks, just enjoying his presence.
Lloyd knew something was up, something she wasn't telling him. She doesn't do naps. Never in the time that he had known her had she taken a 'nap' before or after training.
Silently she laid in his arms. Her thoughts raced at a thousand miles an hour. When was the last time she was on her monthly cycle. Her heart began to pound, she had a theory, she didn't know if she was right or wrong, she had to go and check it out.
Because if her hunch was right, it could change everything.
She pushed Lloyd off her, "I have to go," she said as she strode to their shared bedroom.
"Go where?" Lloyd asked as got up and followed her.
"Out," she answered as she changed into her grey hoodie and jeans.
"Out where?" Lloyd asked.
"Just out," she grumbled.
"(y/n)?" Lloyd questioned as he followed her to the elevator, he quickly dashed inside to catch up with her, she was moving fast, what was going on with her? "(y/n) what's wrong?" he asked.
The elevator stopped in the hangar, "nothing is wrong I just need to get out," (y/n) sighed as she swung her legs over her motorbike.
Lloyd raised an eyebrow at her, he could tell she was keeping something from him. "What aren't you telling me?" he asked as he stepped in front of her bike, holding onto the handlebars so she wouldn't drive off.
"I will have no regrets if I flatten you," she said blankly as she revved the engines.
"Yes, you would, your threats may scare everyone else, but they don't scare me, and I'm not letting you leave unless you tell me what's going on," he frowned. She frowned back at him; she scowled in frustration.
She revved the engine and reversed, she then drove forwards serving around Lloyd and left the monastery, "what aren't you telling me?" he asked to himself. He sighed, there was no point in stopping her or trying to go after her, so he did the only thing he could do. Head back upstairs for breakfast. The team was well awake and eating breakfast.
