The caves of despair were a trap. They returned to the Bounty and (y/n) was silent out of all the Ninja. She had been ever since she had gazed upon Morro's remains. It was what he deserved after what he did to her parents, she had grabbed his pin. All members of the Windsor family had the honor of being buried in the graves in Mount Windsor village, the Masters of wind were buried underneath their tree. She felt that this was necessary, he was disgraced from the family, but he still had a right to have something laid to rest at the place where his story was told. She pocketed the pin.
She would never feel sorry for Morro. But a part of (y/n) wondered what would happen if things had been different. It seemed Morro was cursed since the beginning with his tree growing yet not. She knew there was no point in thinking about what ifs.
She ignored the others as they were squashed together in the small submarine on their way to the tomb. (y/n) didn't like water, nor did Kai. It was against their element. Both fire and air were extinguished by water. (y/n) knew that if they faced Morro her power over the wind wouldn't give her an advantage like it did above water. She would need pure skill to defeat Morro.
"A spinjitzu Master can. A spintjitzu master cannot. To move forward don't look ahead to find his resting spot," Misako said through the coms, it was some form of riddle to get to the tomb of the first spinjitzu Master.
"That's food for thought," Cole sighed.
Jay gulped nervously as tentacles curled around the submarine. "Speaking of food, we're about to be some!" he cried out.
"We have to go faster. Much faster," Kai pointed out. (y/n) leaned against the wall and closed her eyes. She didn't want to know what was going on, she didn't want to look. She leaned against the wall and tried not to think about being crushed by tons of pressurized water. She flinched as she heard the sound of cracking glass.
"Why did the tomb have to be underwater?" (y/n) hissed. She felt her stomach lurch as she felt the submarine try and evade the giant squid that was determined to crush them. She opened an eye when she heard the others cheering. She breathed a sigh of relief. They had lost the squid.
(y/n) was the first to leap out the submarine as they entered the underwater cave. She could tell there was a limited amount of air in here, so her power would be only at a quarter strength. "If you wanna hide a tomb, this looks like a good place, we're here," Cole pointed out.
Tracks already decorated before, and Jay picked up a green cloth. Morro was here. "We're about to go into traps we know nothing about. All we have to rely on is each other," Kai assured as he glanced at each team member.
"Oh, I'm sorry. You're right. Hey! There goes any hope Morro couldn't find the tomb! We're not alone! Yay! Now we're gonna have to fight him again! Sure, we got out tails handed to us last time, and (y/n)'s powers are useless down here, but you never know in the future because Ninja never quit!" Jay rambled sarcastically.
"Look! The first spinjitzu master," Zane said as he pointed at a statue.
(y/n) almost collapsed as the Rex returned to base. "Our aero-blades were in there," Zane pointed out.
"That was out only way back!" kai grumbled.
"Hey, stay positive! Who needs a way back when we gotta go that way?" Jay mocked as he pointed into the tunnel.
"No sword, no powers, no problem. We can do this, guys. As long as we got eachother right?" Kai rallied. (y/n) rolled her eyes, she really did hate the amount to talking they did.
"Morro will be there and back again if you keep being optimistic," she sighed as she started off into the tunnel. (y/n) pushed through a door to reveal a circular room with multiple doors. "Most likely many of these lead to death," (y/n) pointed out.
