A wave of white approached them, and (y/n) stretched her hand out. She wanted it to go around them, but it was like she was punched in the face, like a rebellious child, the winds carried the storm refused to obey her. She grasped her staff, "I am Master of wind and sky, I don't care if Ice rules here, it does not dictate my domain," she hissed. Her arms shielded her face as the snow and winds engulfed her, she slammed her staff into the ground to stop herself from flying away.

"Stop!" She screamed as she her hands outwards, it was as if a shockwave crept across the mountain as the winds and storm was forced around it. Worried formed a pit in (y/n)'s stomach, there would be no one to protect Lloyd from the storm, all she could hope for is that he had found shelter.

A roar echoed into the air. "That wasn't the storm," (y/n) gasped. She jumped, sheer cliffs and falling to her death were the least of her worries. She slid against the side of the cliff and jumped off landing on another edge.

"(y/n)?!" Someone called out. Nya and the others ran over to her, Nya laid a hand on her shoulder and checked over her, "you're not supposed to be out here," Nya scolded.

"I was following Cole," (y/n) explained as she was pulled into Nya's arms. Nya could feel that she was colder, as if there was a sheet of ice covering one of her arms. Nya pulled the sleeve of (y/n)'s battle suit up and it was as she feared, ice crept along her skin.

(y/n) pulled her sleeve back down quickly, "I'm fine, nothing a little fire can't fix," she reasoned.

"Do you know what made that roar?" Nya asked as they walked side by side.

"No," (y/n) replied shaking her head, "I felt Cole with a couple of villagers so I could keep the blizzard from swamping us," (y/n) explained.

A guttural echoed off the hills ahead, "the villagers mentioned a creature called the 'Krag', that has to be it," Nya deduced.

"That's a bad sound," Jay said nervously. "Every time I hear it I think of big with giant teeth."

"And I'm betting Cole got himself into serious trouble Nya said worriedly. "This is partly our fault you know."

"I go do some soul searching and chaos break loose?!" (y/n) gasped, "are you sure it's me Lloyd asked to be baby sat or you guys?" She scoffed.

"I had no idea how sensitive he was about losing the travelers tea," Jay said guilty about what had happened. (y/n)'s eyes widened in shock; she now knew what it was about.

"Even if he was sensitive, he shouldn't have run off by himself," Nya then shot (y/n) a glare, "and neither should you," she scolded.

(y/n) rolled her eyes, "it's just a scratch," she defended.

"You have to learn to be more careful," Nya argued.

(y/n) fell silent. She bit her lip. Maybe it was time to start looking before leaping.

The three stopped at the edge of a cave. "This is where those creepy footprints led," Jay said nervously as his eyes darted around the room.

They walked further into the dimly lit cave, "it's definitely the creature's home," Nya deduced. "Look," she said as they walked into a room full of bunk beds and burial mounds. A clatter rang at (y/n)'s feet as she kicked a pile of swords, she picked one up.

"Ice Samurai," she spat as she threw the blade to the side. "It's the last one," (y/n) said sadly, she knew firsthand how it felt to be the last of your family, if it weren't for Mystake, Lloyd and the others, she'd have been alone in the world and with that she could sympathize with the creature.

"How big do you think the Krag is?" Jay asked fearfully.

Nya leaned down to examine a footprint, "pretty big," she answered as Jay stepped into the print to make a point.

They continued deeper into the cave. Nya held her hand up to stop them as a guttural growl echoed from the entrance of the cave. "We should have brought weapons," Jay shrieked as its big shadow spread across the walls. The was something in its hands, the figure of a person.

"We're too late," Nya gasped.

"C-Cole," Jay stammered.

(y/n) gripped her staff tight. Nya ushered both of them behind a large icicle. "That monster," Jay hissed.

"He's going to pay for that," Nya glowered.

"Wait, we don't know what we saw, shadows can be deceiving," (y/n) hissed, she didn't have time to react as Jay and Nya leaped from their hiding placed to attack the Krag.

Nya lunged and it caught her in its grasp, "Nya!" Jay cried out.

"And they tell me to look before I leap," (y/n) grumbled as she tumbled out from behind the icicle. Nya was thrown into (y/n), throwing both of them into a wall. Jay attacked with a lightning bolt, the Krag moved out of the way to zap Cole, who wasn't spotted by the others. yet.

Nya and (y/n) pulled themselves to their feet as the Krag loomed over them, beating its chest and chittering at them. The wind picked up in the cave, howling at (y/n)'s call.

Cole knew exactly what those winds meant, (y/n) was preparing for a deadly attack, Cole jumped out from behind the Krag, "No! Stop! Don't hurt him!" he called out.

The winds died down and (y/n) brought her staff to rest at her side.

"Cole!" Nya and Jay called out and ran over to him, hugging it out.

But before they could say much more, the Krag snatched Cole and hurled a log at Nya and Jay, the landed at (y/n)'s feet, "You sure it's me that needs to look before leaping," she huffed as she stared down at them. She helped the two to her feet.

"We're just borrowing a tip from your book," Jay huffed.

"Friend," the Krag growled as he shielded Cole.

"That's what I was trying to tell you guys, he's not a monster, he's... well, he's Krag," Cole explained. "Krag, Nya, Jay and (y/n), my friends," Cole introduced. "Krag helped me find the travelers tree, he helped me get these." Cole held his hands up revealing flowers from the tree. "Do you think you can make them into a tea (y/n)?" Cole asked.

"Mystake's ghost would come back and hit me with her cane if I didn't," she said as Cole handed her the leaves.

"How? Where?" Jay questioned.

"That's what I'm telling you, there's a tree, up this cliff, I wouldn't have found it without Krag's help," Cole added.

"I'm sorry we misjudged you," Nya apologized. "We heard some crazy stories and I guess we let them get the better of us-

"Yeah I don't think he understands all that," Cole stopped.

The Krag glanced at (y/n) and (y/n) the Krag, she nodded at the Krag and the Krag nodded back, they now had mutual understanding and respect.

"Friend?" Nya asked as she held her hand out to Krag. The Krag pulled all four of them into a tight hug.

Thankfully Krag put them down. "Krag how would you like to come with us?" Cole offered. "Down the mountain. Come with Cole. Come stay with friend. Okay?"

Krag nodded, "great that's settled," Nya said in relief
