Lloyd sat up gasping. He put a hand to his forehead and begged his heart to stop racing. It was that nightmare again. He looked around for (y/n) only to find that the only one sleeping was his father. He sighed as he remembered that she was probably keeping watch for any unwanted visitors. She was probably the only one who could do it. As the entrance of Hiroshi's Labyrinth was covered with a thick and dense fog that their robotic hunters would have no trouble ambushing them. But (y/n) would sense changes in the wind and alert Lloyd and his father before the attack came to pass.
He stood up and stretched, too paranoid to go back to sleep. He glanced over at his father and stood up. He looked around for where (y/n) could have gone. He froze as he heard a rustling, his heart thundered in his ears like a drum. Was it a nindroid? Did the Overlord find them? Is (y/n) okay? "Boo," a voice whispered into his ears. He yelped and jumped away from where the warm breath brushed his ears.
"(y/n)!" he complained in a hush whisper, she giggled. She hung upside down from the ledge she watched from. She flipped and landed on the ground. "That wasn't funny, what if that was a nindroid?" he grumbled as he crossed his arms at her. He couldn't see her in the dark, but he knew that she was there, he could picture the triumphant grin and her glittering eyes.
"Come on, don't be such a kill joy," she chuckled as she laid a hand on his shoulder. Lloyd turns to grab her hand and held it in his, a load off his shoulders lightened with the surety that she was there. "Hey, are you okay?" her voice suddenly became concerned as Lloyd squeezed her hand, "you can talk to me," she prompted as she got Lloyd to sit down.
He sighed, "I've been having these dreams since the Overlord was first defeated. I failed," he said leaving out the part about (y/n), he didn't want her to think that he didn't trust her nor her abilities.
"Did you fail?" she asked.
"Did I? he questioned, "the Overlord wasn't destroyed, he's back (y/n) and it's all my fault," he admitted, he froze as he felt (y/n) rest her head on his shoulder. Her hair tickled his neck as he forced himself to breath slower so he wouldn't disturb her.
"And it's not your fault he came back either, the Overlord just can't take a hint," she quipped, "but in all honesty, it's prepared you for the next fight, you know, if you can beat em' once you can beat em' again sort of thing," she reminded.
"Hmm," he replied. (y/n) didn't use fancy words when giving advice nor drawn out riddles. It was what he liked that she was straight forward and always spoke what she believed. He relaxed as he heard her gentle breaths. She had fallen asleep; he rested his head on top of hers.
He felt warm as he continued to hold her hand.

Lloyd took the lead with his father and (y/n) following, "How anyone got through this jungle is beyond me," he mused as he pushed through the next patch of dense leaves and forestry. They had left the rocky outcropping in exchange for a deep and dense rainforest.
"Hiroshi's Labyrinth, legend says no one has ever escaped it's deadly maze, except for Hiroshi himself," Sensei Garmadon noted. "But the maze is no match for your powers," he continued as he stepped in front of Lloyd and pushed through some vines. "This is the perfect place to hide from the Overlord's clutches."
"Hide. That's all I ever seem to do," Lloyd complained.
"Your Golden Power only strengthens his cause. We must not lose sight," he reasoned.
"But I miss my friends. What good is being all powerful if I can't ever have any fun?"
"The golden power needs to be protected, honored. Evil forces will seek it, try to take it for their own. It seduces, even your friends may one day covet it," he cautioned.
