"What do you mean I can't go," (y/n) snapped at the Ninja. They stepped back. The fury in her eyes mimicked a storm.

Kai nervously rubbed the back of his head, "(y/n), you're clearly not thinking straight," Kai said nervously as he raised his hands.

"The thing is (y/n), when you're mad..." Cole trailed off.

"What Cole means to say," Jay added, but he hid behind Zane as (y/n)'s dagger like glare rested on him, "help," he whimpered. Zane stepped forward.

"That you're not thinking clearly, statistically you're the only one who can defeat Morro but your anger clouds your judgment," Zane said truthfully. The clouds covered the sun as the atmosphere grew tense, the winds became cold in the shadow of its masters anger. It made the Ninja shiver.

The tension faded as (y/n) turned and walked away from them. She tried breathing but her anger wouldn't subside. All that she could think about was everything Morro had taken from her and how much she wanted him to feel that exact pain, except 10 times worse.

She could feel the tendrils of her power ready to explode. She didn't dare summon her staff as whatever destruction she caused in her anger would be magnified. She needed to vent. She felt a hand rest of her shoulder, she spun around sharply to face Nya. A wave of guilt washed over (y/n) as Nya flinched in the shadow of her anger.

"I'm sorry," (y/n) seethed, she didn't mean it, she was just... unrelenting.

"It's no problem, Misako warned me that you may still be in a bad mood but I was just letting you know we'll b at the river," Nya said as she walked away. She sighed and followed.

(y/n) sat by the river in a meditating position and closed her eyes. She needed to be at peace with her emotions, the her anger into quiet, controllable, strength.

Hours had passed (y/n) drowned out the sound of Nya's training as she focused on herself. Eventually Nya sat beside (y/n) with a sigh. "I'll never get this," she complained, "what if I'm not cut out to be a ninja?"

"Are you asking me to help or are you here to complain?" (y/n) snapped.

"Both. Maybe. I don't know."

(y/n) sighed and stood up. "Our elements are the same yet different," she said as she held a hand out to Nya and helped her up. "Unique to the other, fire and lightning need to struck up by storm, Ice and Earth are unmoving. Ours have two sides," she am explained as she stepped away from Nya.

"I don't get it how is this meant to make me understand my element?" Nya asked.

"Wind and water can be calm and have a hidden fury. The river and sea can be tranquil and in a split second in can create a disaster. Wind in the same, a gentle breeze can turn into a tornado," (y/n) explained.

"Copy my forms," (y/n) instructed as she stood one one leg. Nya copied. (y/n) moved slowly and gracefully and Nya copied. "Now close your eyes an listen to the water."

Nya closed her eyes, "and what will you be listening for?"

"I won't be, I'll be moving to the wind," (y/n) replied as she repeated the movements, except she followed the gentle breeze as it carved itself around her. Nya opened her eyes for a split second, she watched as the leaves danced to the wind that moved around (y/n).

She closed her eyes and did as (y/n) suggested. She listened to the water that trickled across the rock into the slow stream. She could hear that it sounded slow and moved to the sounds. Nya stopped and scowled, "what is this meant to do?" She demanded.

(y/n) remembered the echo of her own voice. She had said something quite similar to Mystake. "This," she answered. Nya stepped back as (y/n)'a movements became faster and stronger, the wind picked up. And when (y/n) stopped the wind rushed past her and blew away the trees around her. She could hear Mystake's voice. "This form is the core of your element, smooth and strong but when quickened the ferocity of your element shines through," (y/n) explained. Nya sat down defeated.

(y/n) sat next to her. "I can't do it, I'll never be as strong as you or the others," Nya sighed.

"Don't underestimate yourself, give it a chance," (y/n) encouraged.

"You seem less angry," Nya pointed out as she nudged (y/n).

"Don't get me wrong given the chance I'll rip Morro to shreds but... he destroyed my family yet he's the only one left," she admitted. "Yes, he disgraced the family name and almost destroyed it but he's still a Windsor," (y/n) argued with herself.

Nya laid a hand on (y/n)'s shoulder, "you shouldn't underestimate yourself, you'll figure it out," she reassured.

(y/n) huffed. "Come on don't sell yourself short. You're the only one of us that can face down an army, with no hesitation, and still come out on top," Nya complimented.

The wind roared. Like a howl, it was a strange sound. One that called (y/n) to her feet.

"(y/n)?" Nya called out.

"These winds, Windsor mountain calls," (y/n) muttered to herself.

Nya grabbed her wrist. Nya had never seen that look on (y/n)'s face. A face that was blank with thought and eyes firm and duty filled. (y/n) summoned her dragon as she pulled her hand out of Nya's grip.

"Tell Sensei Wu, the battle of the skies is about to begin," (y/n) said as she jumped on top of her dragon and flew off.

Sensei Wu stood next to Nya as they watched (y/n)'s form disappear into the distance. "What did she say?" Wu asked.

"She said something about the battle of the skies," Nya wondered.

Wu stroked his beard. "Never had there been two Masters of wind, Morro may challenge Windsor Mountain but (y/n) has already completed its challenge," Wu interpreted.

"What does that mean?" Nya  asked.

"That if Morro is to challenge Windsor Mountain and claim the power of skies, he must first get through (y/n)."

The winds howled as the winds shook the skies across Ninjago. Winds of two Masters clashed as their Masters approached each other at the foot of the mountain. "Ever so hungry for power Uncle that you dare climb the mountain?" (y/n) questioned venomously as her dragon vanished.

Triumphantly, Morro held out the scroll of airjitzu. Taunting (y/n) with its knowledge. He tossed it between his hands. "I have the power of the green ninja, the scroll of airjitzu, why not the legendary powers of the Windsors, it's my birthright as wel as yours," he grinned. The wind began to swirl.

"Why?" (Y/n) hissed as she clenched her fists, "my parents weren't elemental Masters and lead peaceful lives, why did you kill them?" (Y/n) snarled.

Morro deeply frowned. "Because they stood in my way," he snapped, "as soon as you were born I could feel my powers weakening and so I thought that If I had successfully completed the trials of the mountain I'd have enough power," he divulged. The wind whipped furiously. "But it wasn't enough, the wind favoured you and I couldn't set foot near the mountain and even now it only bends to you. Your father stood in my way, he knew the secrets to the art of the silent sword and scaling the side of the mountain but he dropped off the face of the Earth until I found him and ended my problem."

"Now I must end my last problem," he snapped as he got into a fighting stance as did (Y/n).

"You have to get past me to even attempt the climb," (Y/n) spat.

"I know. That's why I'm here," snarled Morro as the two ran at each other.

The storm shook Ninjago. The tea shop shook as the winds threatened to tear the roof off. No one could sleep. With a roar the roof of the tea shop up uplifted, "Sensei what's going on?" Jay cried as they took shelter in a room away from the open roof. Sensei Wu stared at the roaring winds.

He did not want to worry the others so he said nothing. But Sensei knew that (Y/n) was battling Morro for the staff of wind, a power Morro should never possess.

"This storm it's spread across Ninjago, some towns even report tornado sightings," Nya warned. It confirmed Wu's thoughts, Morro and (Y/n) we're battling for who was the true Master of wind.

"All we can do is ride out the storm," Wu's voice rang out. He hoped that (Y/n) would emerge victorious
