There was something about being thousands of feet under the water, far away from the source of her power that made (y/n) nope out of the deep sea expedition.

"You sure you don't want to come love?" Lloyd asked.

She gave him a glare, "one small slip, one little leak and we slowly drown or get crushed by the pressure, nah, I ain't going out like that," she scoffed as the pod followed behind them.

The waves crashing against the dock made (y/n) feel uneasy, water was the no.1 enemy of air. It was the one thing that her element could not cut or shred but it could easily snuff out the wind.

She definitely liked warm, dry land. "Will you be able to handle the twins by yourself?" Lloyd asked as the sea bounty rose from the ocean.

"Yes, we'll be fine, if you don't die down there I'll be sure to give you an update," (y/n) sighed.

"Still feel like staying behind (y/n)?" Cole teased as the group marvelled at the new vehicle.

"Remember what happened to the land bounty," (y/n) replied. Cole instantly became nervous.

(y/n) grabbed the collar of Lloyd's gi and pulled him so it looked like she was going to kiss him but instead she pulled him closer so he could hear what she had to say without everyone else hearing.

"I swear if you die down there and abandon, Lillium, Arwen and I. I will eventually kick the bucket and will make it my personal mission to make your after life a hell... nothing can save you... understand," she threatened. She left him go and any trace of the very real threat she made was gone.

A threat that didn't make Lloyd shake one bit, he chuckled and kissed the top of her temple. "When will you learn that your threats don't work on me," she giggled as he short her a glare. He wasn't stupid, he she was worried and pulled her into his arms, "I'm coming back... don't worry," he assured.

She clung on his gi. This sensation was worse that falling blind into an endless abyss. She didn't want to let him go but she knew she had no choice.

Lloyd went over to the pod once she let go of him and opened it up. The peas smiled up at him hurling cheerfully, he kissed their cheeks, "be good for your mum and I'll be back before you know it," he assured, giving (y/n) a million dollar smile.

"Are you sure that the underwater pulse you guys saw is causing my powers to freak out?" Nya questioned as they jumped on top of the sea bounty.

"97% positive," Zane replied.

"That's pretty positive," Kai agreed.

"But what if my powers go crazy on me while we're down there? Maybe I should just sit out on this mission," Nya huffed in worry.

(y/n) sighed and summoned her staff. She threw it at Nya, it smacked the ninja of water in the head. "What was that for?!" Nya grumbled as she rubbed her head.

"If you start fearing your power, you'll begin to notice that it'll walk all over you, so if you're more focused on your sore head you won't be panicking as much," (y/n) grinned.

"Thanks for the pep talk (y/n)," Nya groaned as she rubbed her head.

Jay took her hand tenderly "beside that. We need you to go, you're the master of water, there's no one more connected to the else's than you," Jay encouraged.

"You could always stay here with your mother and train," Wu offered with a wicked grin.

(y/n) was hanging the laundry on the line whilst the twins were sleeping. They thankfully were enough to keep her mind busy, she had never felt this anxious before. Her breath suddenly became quicker, she grasped her chest to try and steady her heart beat. "He'll be fine, he's going to be okay," she assured herself. She felt her legs weaken and sat on the ground and stared at the sky.
