Lloyds veins burned as his golden power was slowly being drained. Sucked into a metal casket which undoubtedly would form the overlords body. "(Y/n)..." he rasped. She hadn't woken up in hours and had badly stirred. Blood had pooled around her and tricked towards his glass cage. He needed her to stir, answer him, anything that would let him know that she was still alive. "This is all my fault," he mum led to himself as he leaned against the glass. Fighting to try and keep in golden power. "(Y/n), I don't know if you can hear me," his body shook as another chunk of power was ripped from his body, "I'm sorry I dragged you into this mess, I thought you would be safer if we stuck together but I was wrong, I should have let you go with the others," he refrained from begging for her to wake up but he needed to get it off his chest, "You're my best friend and I want to be more than that, please, (Y/n) I need you more than you'll ever know so you have to keep fighting. Please don't give up because I'm not strong enough to protect us both," he pleaded as he banged against the glass. "Please wake up," he whispered again.

"Soon you will be utterly powerless and I will escape this digital prison and become whole and nothing will stop me from becoming the golden master," the Overlord snarled.

Lloyd felt truly powerless, he was unable to help his friends, unable to save himself and most importantly he was unable to save (Y/n) who was bleeding out. He didn't want the Overlord to see his weakness. Tears almost escaped his eyes, (Y/n) had only gotten hurt in the defence of others, it was part of the job description of being a ninja but if he was stronger he could protect her. Have her back like she has his.

She was in a field. Ninjago city loomed in the distance. She didn't know where she was but it somehow felt familiar. There was a house on a hill, a small cottage in the open with a single cherry blossom tree beside the house. It was a peaceful place.

She leaped up the hill and circled the house. She was getting the feeling of déjà vu. The door opened with a creek. It was definitely an old fashioned house. She looked to the stand on top of the fireplace. She almost stopped breathing. It was a picture of her. She had seen pictures of her baby self when she was take in by Mystake but she looked much younger.

A large boom shattered the silence. She ran outside. The wind stirred ominously, like a dark presence was in control of her element. She watched as the spiralling began and watched as clouds touched the Earth. Fear coursed through her veins as a green death like stare met hers.

~~~***~~~
Pain erupted in her side as slowly opened her eyes. She was disoriented; she couldn't remember what happened. She hissed as she tried to sit up and opted to stay down.
She remembered. She had gotten herself shot. One of the laser bolts had grazed her head. Another shot through her left thigh and the other in her lower abdomen. She remembered the nindroids, it had felt like that no matter how many she destroyed four took their place. She remembered taking hits. She had heard cracks, she didn't know what bones were broken, she would find out later.
"(Y/n)?" Lloyd called out to her. He watched as she writhed in the ground, trying to get up, "stay down, you're badly hurt," he pleaded as he sank against the glass wall.
(Y/n) as remembered the Overlords plan. She had to get up but her bones shook and she crumpled to the ground again. "Lloyd?" She rasped as she opened her eye, the other felt swollen and sore. She rolled and laid on her good side and faced the glass cage. Her eyes widened when she realised how much trouble they were in. She had to get Lloyd out before the Overlord drained his power. "I can't get up," she mumbled weakly.
"You're alone golden ninja, nothing can save you now," the overlord snarled as (Y/n) pulled herself closer to Lloyds prison. And weakly hit the glass. Lloyd sat on the ground and pressed his forehead to the glass.
"This is my fault," he murmured and he pressed his hand against the glass where (Y/n) was. She needed medical treatment and there was nothing he could do.
(Y/n) tried getting up again to no avail. The adrenaline she relied upon to get herself out of these situations was long gone and she was feeling the full extent of her injuries, it felt like the world was spinning, "it's not your fault," (y/n) assured Lloyd as her eyes began to flutter.
(y/n) closed her eyes, too tired to keep them awake. Something in her veins tingled. She could sense it, she could sense the raging wind as the ship cut through the air. Maybe if she could crash the ship, should could break Lloyd out. "Hey Lloyd if we both die then the overlord doesn't get your powers," she said in a raspy chuckled.
"(y/n) what are you thinking?" He asked worriedly.
"I'm thinking I'm going to risk ripping this thing out of the sky with us in it," she replied.
"Can you do that?" He asked.
"Using my power along side my movements just allowed me to gain better control and larger attack range, if you can move a mountain with your mind, I can create a breeze," she reasoned.
"Do it," he said. He swore that one day he would pay her back and that he would be the one to save her:
She sat up and wriggled out of the metal chains grip. She kicked it away weakly as she stretched out a hand. She needed just a bit. The ship shook as a gust of wind took out an engine. "Nice job," Lloyd complimented but when he looked down at her she was unconscious.
He braced himself as the cabin exploded in flame, freeing him from the glass. Zane, Cole, Jay and Kai had done it. They had beat the over lord. Lloyd peered through the smoke fretful for (y/n). He crawled through the wreckage and stood up. "I got you," he told her as he pulled her into his arms. He kissed her temple, "now it's time for me to get you out of here." He shoved the door open and jumped into the ocean, not for one second he let go of (y/n) as he swam to the surface.
"Lloyd, are you there?" He heard Pixel as he pulled himself and (y/n) out of the water.
"I'm here, I'm alright," he replied.
"Son! Where are you?" Sensei Garmadon asked
Lloyd felt a weight lift from his chest, "Dad! You're alive!" He beamed as he hugged (y/n) tighter. "I'm not alone, (y/n) is with me and we're at a remote village."
"Stay where you are we're picking you up," Garnadon informed.
Lloyd brushed a strand of hair from (y/n)'s eyes. "Please hurry, (y/n) is hurt, badly," he pleaded as he hugged her tighter, silently begging her to hang on.
