***Here we go!!! Chuck on some music and grab some chocolate***
It was the bitter end...
Lloyd paced back and forth. His hands shook, (y/n) was in big trouble and he was too stupid to see through Harumi's lies. "How do we get to Windsor Mountain, it's miles away and they have (y/n)'s power," Kai pointed out. Lloyd scrunched his face up to try and hide the pain in his chest, he was so stupid and (y/n) paid the price.
"They have (y/n)'s power but Windsor Mountain will only let her onto its peak," Lloyd replied as he continued to pace. He didn't know whether he should go looking for (y/n) first or get to Mount Windsor. "Summon your dragons we need to get to Mount Windsor," Lloyd ordered.
"This is my domain!"
(y/n)'s voice echoed
"We haven't done that in a while," Zane pointed out.
"We have choice, they can't get the fourth mask," Lloyd reasoned. He raised his hand to the sky and jumped he was glad to have summoned his dragon. He took off into the sky before any of the others could catch up to him.
He looked to his left, (y/n) smiled at him with that wild grin of hers. Lloyd reached out to her, the ache in his chest needed her to take his hand. (y/n) urged her forward to get ahead of Lloyd and vanished. He grabbed the ring from his pocket and held it close to his chest, he felt as if everything was crumbling around him.
She always protected him. Even when it meant potential death, she didn't hesitate. She never hesitated; she never trusted anyone else's word except his. He screamed his pain into the winds as his eyes stung with tears that were carried away by the breeze. "Please, don't take her from me," he begged.
Lloyd held her shoulders, "you're not weak," he reasoned.
"I'm not, I know I'm not but if I don't improve, I eventually will be," she replied. "I need to go," she pleaded, "I fear that I may go mad, if I don't attempt to conquer the mountain."
Lloyd cupped her cheek. He scanned over her face. There was a longing her her far off eyes, he understood that (y/n) was like her element. Free, untamable, unpredictable and powerful, he felt that it would be a form of violation in the trust they shared not to let her go. He sighed, "I know I can't stop you," he mumbled. (y/n)'s eyes widened in surprise that was not the answer she was expecting.
She kissed his cheek, "thank you Lloyd."
He would protect the Mountain she was guardian of, and he urged his dragon forward.
~~~***~~~
(y/n) had lost most feeling in her body. She was glad the sons of Garmadon were gone, it meant no one would see her like this, broken and defeated. She clung to life, hoping that someone would save her, "please," she begged, her throat was dry, lips cracked and sore. The cuts and blades that they had left her continued to ache. She had no more tears to cry, no more sorrow for herself, she squinted her eyes shut, she needed to be out of this misery. "Where are you, Lloyd?" she begged. "You promised," she choked as her body was wracked in sobs.
"You are not alone," voices whispered into her ears. "You did not fail us, you did not dishonor us, you revived us, you brought back honor to our house."
