Blown Away (Lloyd Garmadon x Reader)

Day of the Dragon

The group of elemental master's destroyed the ferry and any other way off the island. They had captured any of Chen's remaining guards.

"The palace and sleeping quarters are all clear, still no sign of Chen and Clouse," Cole said as the Ninja's grouped together.

A shadow crossed the sky, (y/n) closed off her glider and landed on the ground, "I swept over the island, wherever they are, they're not above ground," she pointed out.

"What about Skylar?" Kai asked.

" She wasn't able to pick her family, but she was able to pick her friends and since you're her friends, that means so are we," Lloyd assured as he rested a comforting hand on Kai's shoulder. He knew exactly how Kai was feeling, to know someone you cared about was in trouble and there wasn't anything to be done.

"Don't worry, we'll find her," (y/n) smiled. If Skylar had switched side, she knew that she would have to apologize for what transpired on the Mountain. (y/n) knew that it definitely wouldn't be a good idea to mention what had happened here.

"They're right. With no way off the island, it'll only be a matter of time," Cole added.

"I'm proud of you six, you've done what previous elemental master's never could: stick together, " Sensei Garmadon said as he strolled over to the group. "But you must not rest on your laurels, for your guard is down when you sleep."

"I can check over the other side of the island again," (y/n) offered as she twirled her staff.

"Call me slow but since when did you get a new suit and weapon?" Cole asked.

(y/n) grinned, "you guys had the elemental weapons and the techno blades, it's about time I got something mystical and magical," she quipped. "But this is the staff of wind, it holds the full wrath of the wind, and it comes with new look," she bragged.

LLoyd wrapped an arm around her shoulder and chuckled. "The next thing you know you'll be facing down your arch nemesis for the fate of Ninjago," he chuckled.

"Why? Know anyone?" she laughed jabbing Lloyd's side.

"Come on let's see how Nya's going with fixing the vehicles," Lloyd suggested as they walked into the forest.

"Chen just figured out Skylar's powers can finish the spell. She's in danger," The Master of Speed informed as he ran over to the group.

"He's replaced his elemental staff with the elements in his daughter," Garmadon added.

"Where?" Kai asked hastily.

"Other side of the island."

"I'm going after her," Kai said as he turned to his vehicle.

"We all are. Jay, Zane, you take the Mech and buggy. Cole and I will take the roto Jet. Lloyd you've got your dragon, (y/n) the wind," Garmadon instructed. (y/n) pressed a button on her glider and its wings popped out.

"Is that thing even fast?" Lloyd asked.

(y/n) rolled her eyes, "It's as fast as the wind," she replied with a glint of mischief in her eyes. A gust of wind carried her into the air. Lloyd summoned his dragon and followed her. Lloyd glanced over at (y/n), he hated to admit that (y/n)'s glider was faster than his dragon. His dragon was blown to the side by a gust of wind. Lloyd smiled, he had missed this, the messing around in the face of danger and responsibility.

(y/n) was the first one on the scene. She watched as Chen lined up to shoot down Skylar. A gust of wind sent Chen off course, Cole followed up and began to shoot at Chen and Clouse.

(y/n) glanced at the jet as she watched Clouse land on the wing and began to rip out wires. A gust of wind blew her towards the jet. She sheathed the wings so the second, but her momentum carried towards Clouse, she kicked at him, but he simple stepped to the side and dodged. "(y/n)!" Cole called out to her. But free falling never concerned (y/n), she just ignited the glider again and levelled out.
