She fell into darkness...

Like hell she would.

She shook off the darkness that threatened to consume her and jumped to her feet. She kicked backwards at whoever had attempted to knocked her out. Her foot connected with someone invisible, Pythor stumbled backwards, his camouflage was gone, "you don't miss a thing do you?" He hissed as he rubbed his jaw.

Pythor lunged, propelled by the force of his coiled tail. Like a leaf carried on the wind, (y/n) gracefully sidestepped, her body a canvas of fluid motion reminiscent of a seasoned martial artist. The imminent clash materialized-an intricate ballet of agility and precision, illuminated by the moon's soft glow. Pythor's tail, a whip of menace, lashed towards (y/n). With a breath's worth of reaction time, she spiraled away, a wisp of breeze bending around danger.

In response, (y/n) harnessed the very air around her, a tangible extension of her will. Her limbs became extensions of the elements, each movement a testament to her mastery. With a spiraling motion, she created a swirling vortex of wind that encircled Pythor, binding him in a cyclone of invisible force. Pythor fought, his struggles as futile as a snake in the grip of a tempest. Sensing the crescendo of her inner energy, (y/n) released it in one transcendent moment. A fierce gust erupted from her palms, propelling Pythor backward until he crashed to the ground.

The fire crackled around them. The blaze would be upon the house soon. (y/n) knew she had to act fast, with another gust of wind she threw Pythor further into the forest.

"That damned snake, I thought you were powerless," a very familiar voice spat. It made (y/n)'s blood boil and her vision turned red.

"You're supposed to be dead," (y/n) snarled as she turned around.

Harumi stood there with a smug look on her face. "I could say the same about you."

Harumi tried to stop her hands from shaking. (y/n)'s eyes were as cold as steel, the wind that stirred in her anger sent shivers down Harumi's spine, she almost flinched a thunder cracked over head.

Harumi drew her blade. The sliver curve, glowed dangerously in the orange flames.(y/n) was prepared to run at Harumi, old feelings of resentment and revenge were boiling. But two wails snapped her out of it.

Wind roared to (y/n) and threw Harumi backwards. (y/n) ran into the burning building, she flipped the lid on the pod close and raced outside. Her lungs screamed for fresh air as the smoke began to engulf her, she ignored the stinging sensation that ran across her arms and legs as she ran through the flames and threw herself outside.

There was something in Harumi that didn't want to take a step closer. (y/n)'s glare was absolutely menacing. She was glad she had backup.

(y/n) glanced left and right as soldiers adorned in amor and purple crystals stepped out from the flames. If there was ever a time (y/n) needed her full strength it would be now.

Harumi noticed this. The legends she had heard of the mighty master of wind always referred to a gleaming staff that could summon winds sharper than blades. Harumi chuckled, "so the rumours are true, you've gotten weak."

(y/n) didn't even blink. The soldiers that stepped from the forest were cut to shreds. Sliced apart by an invisible force and Harumi's eyes widened, she bit her lip, the anger of the Master of wind was still as powerful as any storm. "I don't need my staff to kick your ass," (y/n) glared.

Harumi glanced at the pod that (y/n) was guarding. She heard the crying of children before and she could easily guess what was inside. So the rumours were true.
