Blown Away (Lloyd Garmadon x Reader)

Dyer Island

The words screamed on the wind.

"Do you want to enter prime empire?"

She didn't know where it was coming on, the sounds echoed from everywhere. "Brick why can't we ever catch a break," (y/n) grumbled. She now had bigger issues to worry about.

(y/n) turned towards the arcade. If she walked away now, she and the baby would be safe. Being a ninja was a danger magnet that she couldn't afford.

"(y/n)?!" Lloyd called out to her from the entrance. She turned to face him, there was hesitation in her eyes, she looked like she was going to run. She took a step back as Lloyd took a step forward.

He ran to her and pulled her into his arms. "What's wrong?" He asked. She hugged him back, holding onto him as tight as she could.

"There is dread on the wind, a horrible sound echoes through the air," she whispered. "Lloyd- I- I'm I'm-

"Lloyd! (y/n)!" We found a secret cabinet!" Kai yelled; she shot Kai a glare that sent him scurrying back inside.

"You are going to be fine; we are going to be fine," Lloyd assured. He let her go and walked towards the arcade, he glanced over his shoulder, "you coming?" He asked.

She nodded the first step was shaky but she followed him back inside. (y/n) raised an eyebrow the game did indeed have a secret cabinet.

Coles eyes darted around the room, "A security camera. Zane can you pull up the video on this computer?" Cole asked.

They gathered around the screen, Zane skipped past the footage of when they first arrived. The video played the moment Jay had set off the red wave of energy, the screen on the game glowed red. "Whoa did you see that?!" Cole gasped.

"Rewind that," Lloyd requested and again they watched the red wave throw Jay to the ground.

"It appears to be some sort of energy wave," Zane pointed out.

"Yeah and soon after everything started to scream 'are you ready to join prime empire?'" (y/n) added.

"Keep fast forwarding," Lloyd said. The cabinet of the game opened, it glowed white and Jay disappeared inside and a few moments later they returned into the room.

"Where did Jay go?" Nya wondered.

Their eyes turned to the game, "he... he never came out," Cole pointed out.

"I'm starting to think that this is no ordinary game," Kai said nervously.

"That thing took Jay," Nya snapped.

"Maybe to find Jay we have to play the game," Cole speculated.

"That would be exceedingly dangerous," Zane warned. "Whatever happened to Jay would likely happen to us."

It made (y/n)'s blood ran cold. She played with the cuffs of her suit nervously, there was always time to walk away. "We can't take the chance," Lloyd spoke up. Not until we know what we're dealing with. We need answers."

(y/n) breathed a sigh of relief, they wouldn't be following Jay into a death trap, yet.

"From who?" Kai asked.

(y/n) leaned against the wall and watched the chaos unfold. Mechanic sat in an interrogation chair; his metal arm rested on the desk as a single light shone above him.

Kai slammed down a piece of paper on the desk, "what is this symbol?" he demanded.

"Where's Jay? What did you do to him?" Nya snapped. Yet the Mechanic remained silent, ignoring the questions, the only expression he made was a sick grin that spread across his face.
