(y/n) returned to the monastery after a trip to the theatre. Romeo and Juliet the played was named, a story of star crossed lovers. A tale of forbidden love, a love where one could not live without the other. For some reason the play had hit harder than expected. Some of the lines couldn't leave her mind. She had found her ideal fun, in the works of Shakespeare.
Even though she was lost in such a tragic tale, reality of her love was still waiting for her and after the play she had yearned for him more. When she got back she found that everyone had piles of gear stacked up outside. It seemed that they were preparing to leave, probably on that quest they planned.
"(y/n)!" Pixar called out and walked over to the Master of wind.
"What's up Pixal?" (y/n) asked as the two walked towards Master Wu.
"I'd like to request if you could help me with some training?" Pixal asked, (y/n) raised her eyebrow in confusion.
"Why do you need my help? You're pretty tough in the Samurai X suit and even without it your combat skills are pretty neat," (y/n) complimented.
"There is still room for improvement, whilst my fighting style is effective I find it lacking in areas where an adaptive fighting style is needed," Pixal explained.
"Oh, so you want me to help you combat different kinds of fighting styles?" (y/n) asked, Pixal nodded, "shouldn't be an issue."
Master Wu, Pixal and (y/n) stopped in front of the piles of gear. "What is the meaning of this?" Wu asked.
Lloyd lifted his head up from his pile of luggage, a light in his eyes blazed at the sight of (y/n).
"We're off on our quest. Remember. To hone our ninja skills," Lloyd pointed out.
"How long are you gone for?" Wu asked
"I don't know, a day or two?" Jay shrugged.
"It's like you always say, better to have it and not need it, then need it and not have it," Cole grinned as he pointed at the piles of stuff.
"I never said that," Wu grumbled.
"Are you coming with us (y/n)?" Lloyd asked as he walked towards her. She smiled gleefully as she wrapped her hands around his neck. She glanced over his face, he looked truly happy to be going on an adventure. But (y/n) knew where her duty lay, even if it was for a few days, Ninjago still needed a protector.
(y/n) glanced at Pixal, "I'll sit this one out, I promised to help Pixal with some training but you all have fun and give me a call when bricks hit the fan," she smiled and she made a promise to a friend. Lloyd chuckled at her as he ran a hand through her hand.
"A few days can seem like a lifetime though," he whispered to her as he pressed a gentle kiss to her forehead.
"Master Wu, perhaps this is an opportunity to field test the new joint tactical vehicles," Pixal suggested.
"What?" Kai questioned. Pixal motioned them to follow her inside. She lead them to a secret under ground base, they all walked into the elevator.
"Did anyone know this was here?" Lloyd asked.
"No," (y/n) answered as she looked around at the neon lights, "but I love it."
"We've been working on it the past six months," Pixal explained.
"I didn't even notice any construction," Jay cried out.
"You were playing video games," Pixal huffed.
"I love it even more," (y/n) smiled as the elevator stopped and they stepped into the base.
Pixal laid a hand on (y/n)'s shoulder. "I know you're not one to use vehicles," Pixal said as she led (y/n) to something covered by a black cloth, "but just in case I designed a motorcycle that sleek and quick that can get you to point A to B with maximum efficiency." (y/n) pulled off the cloth and smiled at the bike it was what she preferred slender, small, and efficient.
