"Stay still," Lloyd scolded (y/n) as she squirmed under his touch. He gently dabbed a cloth across her wounded skin. Lloyd felt a little relief in terms of injuries the wound to her shoulder and gash to her head weren't life threatening.

(y/n) hissed as Lloyd pressed on the arrow wound in her shoulder. "It'll only hurt more if you keep moving," he huffed. The edges of the raw skin we're turning pale, a faint blue outlined the wound, it felt cold to the touch. It made Lloyd worry.

He sighed as he gentle wrapped a piece of fabric around the wound. He kissed her temple as he finished patching her up. She was wrapped in a blanket, she looked tired and after the battle Lloyd knew that she deserved it. "I hate the cold," (y/n) grumbled as she shivered. Lloyd sat beside her and wrapped an arm around her shoulder

"Frost bite," the village chief said as she stepped into the room. Lloyd looked to (y/n) who was peacefully asleep in his arms. She walked towards the two and glanced over the gash on (y/n)'s head, the wound may have been bandaged but she could recognise the plaguish ailment anywhere.

"What is it?" Lloyd asked.

"This is a minor case but slowly the frost will consume her body until she is frozen over, the cold will hasten the effects, the warmth will slow it," she said as she chucked another piece of wood on the fire.

Lloyd kissed her head, "why must it always be you who gets into trouble? Why are you so difficult to keep safe?" He whispered to (y/n). Gently he laid her on the ground and stood up.

"Is there anyway to cure her?" He asked.

"No, defeating the ice emperor may be your only chance," she said. "I will watch over her," she said as Lloyd dashed out of the hut.

He needed to find the team. Lloyd heard a bang and a familiar scowl, "Nya?" He called out as he raced towards her, snow fell on her head as she looked over at him with a frown. "You okay?" Lloyd asked.

Nya shook her head, "no everything is fine," she replied with a fake smile. "How is (y/n)?" She asked

"She's cold and tired as expected but she has frostbite if I don't find a way to stop it, she could freeze," he said grimly.

Nya noticed the fear in his eyes, "we're not going to lose her again," Nya assured.

"I need you to protect the village with the others in case those Samurai come back," Lloyd requested.

"What about you?" Nya asked.

"I have to go away for awhile," Lloyd frowned. It terrified him to be away from (y/n), her reaction scared him but he was doing it for her and Zane's sake.

"Going after Zane?" Nya questioned. "I hope you don't think you're going alone!" Nya snapped at him."we're coming with you."

"I've thought about this Nya there's only two ways into that castle. By force and by stealth and force won't work-

"You mean you don't want (y/n) in the front lines," Nya corrected.

Lloyd nodded, "you've seen how powerful the ice emperor is," Lloyd reasoned.

"So we sneak in, like the craft ninja we are," Nya grinned.

"One of use has a better chance than five," Lloyd argued, "and the ice emperor will be watching you guys, not me, he'll send more of those blizzard samurai here and so I need you to keep these people out of trouble."

Nya rolled her eyes, "that and keep (y/n) from fighting her way to an early grave.... Again. So we draw his attention while you sneak in a find Zane."

"Exactly," Lloyd smiled.
