The winds were a terrible cold, (y/n) shuddered. Lloyd was meeting with the chief to get an idea on how far they'd have to travel to rescue him.

The winds refused to give her an ounce of the warmth she needed. She was apart of her element, if the only breeze that blew was cold, she would be cold. She knew once she started moving she would feel warm again.

Lloyd stepped out of the hut. He frowned in concern as (y/n) rubbed her arms to keep herself warm. Lloyd stood close at her side and wrapped an arm around her shoulders. He knew that she was too proud and too stubborn to complain about the cold, the small smile she gave him was the only thanks and assurance he needed.

Nya tapped the tracker, "any luck?" Lloyd asked.

"Nothing, it's really weird, the signal keeps coming in and out," Nya said as she tried to work out what was wrong with the tracker.

"Maybe the cold is interfering," Lloyd suggested as he and (y/n) leaned over Nya's shoulder to see what was going on.

"Cold shouldn't matter, it's like the signal is weak," Nya grumbled in frustration. "The mech had a brand new battery, it makes no sense."

There was crunching in the snow, Kai ran around in circles, amazed at his snow shoes. "Have you tried these? You've got to check ''em out," he grinned as he ran about. "You can walk on top of snow."

"I think that's the point," Cole pointed out.

(y/n) shuddered as the cold winds swarmed around her. She could hear marching upon its breeze, she could sense malice in the air.

"Alarm! Alarm! They're coming!" A villager screamed. Murmurs of fear filled the air.

Lloyd glanced to (y/n) nervously, she nodded as she followed him to the group of crowded villagers, "blizzard samurai, on the march, heading to our village," the panicked man warned.

"Are you saw this? You saw" The chief asked fearfully as she stepped forward. Her frown hardened, "gather the elders there's no time to lose," she hastened.

"Something is wrong," (y/n) whispered to Lloyd, "these blizzard samurai mean business, the wind blows a new cold, it cuts to my bones, whatever comes is not friendly," she warmed.

Lloyd took her hand in his and kissed the top of it tenderly. There was worry in her gaze but there was also fearlessness, her worry was for those that could not defend themselves. "Can you do anything to buy them time?" He asked.

She nodded as the winds howled to her call , the snow was picked up and rained like a sheet around the village, what was coming were creatures of ice and snow but they would still need their eyes to see.

Lloyd took a moment to watch as snowflakes fell onto her hair, her cheeks were flushed due to the cold, his gaze lingered at her pink lips and how a cloud escaped them as she exhaled. He didn't feel worried with her at his side, it was like he was climbing a mountain and she was his rock that kept him from falling.

He felt something warm press against his lips. He melted into the feeling. "You were staring," (y/n) chuckled through the kiss as she kissed him again.

"Was it that obvious?" he grumbled.

"Come on you two," Kai complained as the others waited for him, they had been silently waiting long enough

Cole and Jay smirked evilly at Lloyd. Lloyd sighed he knew he would never hear the end of them. (y/n) glanced at Lloyd and then the others. She grinned at Lloyd. "Hey Lloyd I just found out what their loves lives and the ice have in common?" (y/n) smirked as she gestured to the others.
