Her hair fluttered in the breeze under darkened skies. All was silent, with only the whistling of the wind making a sound.
Then there it was. The marching, the rows upon rows of crystal warriors heading straight towards her.
Garmadon and Lloyd watched, hidden in an alley. Lloyd wanted to run out there, this was the first phase of the plan. (y/n) blows as many as she can away to give them more time to prepare. Garmadon grabbed Lloyd shoulders to stop him from running out there.
"Don't do it," he warned Lloyd stayed back as he watched her just stand there, he wanted her to run, fight, do something, not wait for the last second.
It seemed as if the world was holding its breath for (y/n) to make the first move.
Then there it was. A defending roar of wind that was able to shatter the glass of skyscrapers as it rushed on by.
It rushed past (y/n), she remained steadfast in the midst of the violent gale, she stamped her staff into the ground as the winds met the crystal army, they were picked up like leaf litter in an autumn wind and blown away.
(y/n) chased after them.
As soon as the winds died down everyone came out of hiding and the mechs brought out. Lloyd hopped into one. They all stared down the road to watch as an army was easily blown away.
"Aren't you gonna transform?" Lloyd asked Garmadon.
"Do you trust me?" Garmadon asked Lloyd.
"The world is about to end, we're about to confront the overlord himself and you're asking me this? Now?!" Lloyd exclaimed.
"You're stalling," Garmadon pointed out.
"I'm not stalling I'm trying to get us moving," Lloyd huffed.
"Then answer the question," Garmadon requested a
Lloyd scowled. "Fine! Yes, okay? I... I think I trust you," Lloyd admitted
"You think or you know?" Garmadon questioned.
"I think I know," Lloyd answered.
"You think you know or you know you think? Because those are two very different -" Garmadon questioned. But was cut off by a giant explosion in the distance, fire erupted creating cloud of fire.
They both were silent as they watched the flames soon catch into a tornado, "looks like (y/n) is getting creative," Lloyd pointed out."Wait! Where was I going with this? Yeah! Can we please, for the sake
Of all Ninjago discuss this after we defeat the overlord?" Lloyd asked in a frustrated huff.
He activated his mech and took off. Garmadon transformed and followed him. Now that Lloyd was in the air he could see the extent of the overlords army, it stretched for miles as a second smaller army cut behind (y/n). Lloyd knew he had to end this as fast as possible before she was overwhelmed because she was strong but not invincible.
He couldn't see her in the midst of the fray, but he watched as tornados roared through the streets of Ninjago consuming everything in its path, he stared at the pure destructive force in sheer awe and terror, he imagined what he'd feel if that kind of thing was coming towards him and that thought sent a chill down his spine.
~~~***~~~
Garmadon attacked, blasting the overlord to the ground. Garmadon flew in an launched another series of attacks upon evil incarnate.
