"Yeah, I call cap." Liam shrugged.
"Cap?" Lloyd questioned.
"Don't believe it," Liam explained as he pulled himself and his sister from Lloyd
. A part in his heart broke as he realised his children didn't recognise him. He had searched for them for so long, to finally have found them and not want anything to do with him felt worse than not knowing where they were.
Arin's jaw basically dropped to the floor. The two street rats he had taken in were the children of the strongest elemental masters in the world, it meant there were destined for greatness... and they didn't believe Lloyd was their father.
"I think what my brother is trying to say is that how can we be sure you're our dad?" Arry asked, she was more stunned than skeptical she wanted to believe the man in front of her was her father but she didn't want to be disappointed.
Lloyd gave them a gentle smile, it wasn't that they didn't want anything to do with him, they just needed to make sure that he was sure. Lloyd gazed over at Lillium, "Your full name is Lillium Azan Windsor-Garmadon and your eyes they're the exact same as your mothers." He admired them the most, deep pools of colour, they still had an innocence and joy that he had once seen in her eyes, long, long ago, before.... she became wrathful.
He left his thoughts as he gazed over to Arwen, "and come on, I'm pretty much looking in a mirror Arwen Mystake Windsor-Garmadon, aside from the features you inherited from me such as your eyes and hair you look like your mother when she was your age."
Now that he thought about it they were a few years older then they were when the Grundal incident took place.
Liam and Arry were stunned, their doubts still festered but there was a spark of belief, deep down there was a pang of familiarity. "and if you don't believe me, come with us, I'm sure you're old baby pictures will convince you."
Lloyd lead the way out with the children trailing behind them. "How come you didn't tell me your father is the Lloyd Garmadon?" Arin asked Liam and Arry.
Liam rolled his eyes, "trust me, we didnt know either and some father," he grumbled, "abandoned us for years." Liam watched as a look of hurt washed over Arins eyes, "sorry but it's true if we didn't make it out the wastes he'd be finding skeletons."
At the same time Arwens mind was also running. She knew that name Windsor, y/n Windsor. There were many in the crossroads that cursed that name, a monster that had killed hundreds in a battle long ago. She didn't know what to think. A monster that had rendered many homeless and slaughtered many more... was her mother, as she thought back to Lloyd saying that she looked like her she suddenly felt her skin crawl, what if people began to hate her because of who her mother was.
An old sailor that she met had told her of how he and his friends were just walking along the beach when they found 2 abandoned children, he didn't go with them, and when his friends asked y/n for help to get them back to their parents, she killed them, tore them apart before they could say anything.
Then there was another who was a humble man working for generous royalty helping the poor folk and when y/n attacked she had killed everyone. From what she had heard her mother was pure evil.
Her eyes lingered Lloyd, if her mother was evil, then what about her father, how could he love such a vicious woman.

Lillium and Arwen stood at the threshold of the monastery. Arin and Sora followed Lloyd inside, it felt familiar, comfortable as a strange peace settled over them. It felt like home.
