Ninjago city was empty
Its sky was a sickly grey
Discarded rubbish tumbled across the roads, carried by wind
Yet all was still
(y/n) could feel her heart thunder in her chest.
There was a rumbling
The ground shook
She turned around
Water rushed towards her
She reached her hand out to stop the waves but she was pulled under and dragged further and further into the dark.
Further away from the surface.
She clawed at her necks as she struggled for breath.
Fear had taken its hold, constricting her like a python preparing its next meal.
The world became a blur.

With a jolt she was awake. Hungrily her lungs ate the unrestricted air around her as she clutched her chest. A pair of strong arms pulled her into a warm embrace. It brought her back to reality. "Lloyd," she rasped out.

"I thought you weren't going to wake up," he said worriedly as he lovingly kissed the top of her head. She wrapped her arms around him. With him here (y/n) felt her fears slink back into the shadows from whence they came.

"I hate water," she grumbled. Lloyd stroked her head. She didn't fool him, she couldn't, even if she tried. She puts on a brave face around everyone else but knew that over time those walls were slowly crumbling and it shows every now and then.

"You're okay," he reminded, "you're safe," he assured. She nodded. He felt like he needed to say it a hundred more times so that she'd finally feel it. "What was it you said to me about nightmares?" Lloyd chuckled.

"What did I say?" (y/n) asked.

Lloyd smiled, "you told me that the best way to deal with nightmares is to face it head on and shred the problem as you do whilst awake," he reminded.

"I don't remember that," (y/n) huffed.

"You said it a lot simpler, I just changed it a little," Lloyd smiled. It was strange, like everything had been flipped. She was his rock, his light in darkest times now he was hers. Lloyd waited until he could hear (y/n)'s gentle snores and helped her under the covers, he never let go of her, not once and he'll never let go of her again.

(y/n) was walking through Ninjago city with the twins sound asleep in the pod. It was relief to see the city bustling.

Lloyd, Jay and Master Wu were at the police station attending to a matter that Lloyd didn't fill her in on. Something about not wanting to worry her. (y/n) couldn't care she was just happy walking around the city. (y/n)'s phone began to ring, she answered it. "(y/n), get the kids and get out of the city," Lloyd said worriedly. Her heart sank, he sounded terrified.

"What's wrong?" (y/n) asked, her heart began to beat at the sound of the fear in his voice.

"Kalmaar has awaken Wojira," his voice shook. (y/n) went silent, Lloyd was calling her name, yelling at her. But she was frozen. The wind turned to ice, lifeless and ignorant to her presence, she could tell that they now recognised a new Master. Dark clouds with purple lightning cracked in the skies above and chaos in the city erupted.

Traffic began to pile up as people began to try and get out of the city. (y/n) closed the pod as rain began to fall on her, she had no vendetta against its master but she really did not like water. She felt the ground under her rumbling. She looked down the street, people began to run from a wave of water that swept through the end of the city. "Brick," she seethed as the tsunami tumbled towards her.

(y/n) fought back the fear, this was no dream. She pushed the pod behind her, "what kind of mother would I be if I did not teach you to stand up against fear," she muttered.

She summoned her staff and battle suit, she stepped towards the water. "I am (y/n) Windsor-Garmadon weirder of the staff of wind," she muttered. Wojira rose up from the ocean and roared. "You cannot pass," she snarled. She rose her staff to the sky, she fought for her power of the wind. I am the true Master of the skies.
