Lloyd knew the place too well. It haunted his dreams and living memory, now that everything had died down his fears were trying to drown him. He shuddered as his hands rubbed the familiar iron bars, he gasped as his eyes lingered on the splattered blood on the ground. He begged himself not to turn around, he knew exactly what was behind him. But his mind betrayed him and he slowly turned around. It was like he was reliving that day, he felt absolutely destroyed as he fell at her feet.

(y/n) hung lifelessly from the wall. Dried blood covered her body, "No-

Lloyd yelled but when he opened his eyes he wasn't in the palace of secrets nor it's dungeon. He grabbed the front of his shirt to try and quiet his beating heart. He felt arms wrap tightly around his waist. He sighed as he remembered where he was, he was in his room in the monastery and (y/n) was right next to him. "Beeeeaaaans," she grumbled as she nuzzled into his side.

Lloyd slid under the covers again, he wrapped an arm around (y/n)'s shoulder and stared at the ceiling. "I had that nightmare again," he whispered as he kissed her temple.

(y/n) sleepily yawned. "Just keep reminding yourself that I'm alive and that both you and I will kick the butt of whoever tries to split us up," she yawned.

Lloyd chuckled as he ran his hand through her hair. "You're right about that, I guess I'm just worried that I might lose you again."

"Not going to happen, we dealt with that arc," she said sleepily. "Now go back to sleep, remember I wake up early and unless you want me to drag you out of bed for dawn training, you'll let me sleep," she mumbled.

"How do you deal with Nightmares?" He asked.

(y/n) slightly opened an eye, "I've grown a mentality where if it wants to fight me, I'll kick the ass of who or whatever wants to fight me. That and I just remember that it's all a dream and I wake up," she mumbled with a yawn.

Lloyd chuckled again and shook his head at her, he rolled onto his side to face her. He still couldn't believe that she was back and his dreams were just a manifestation of his fears. A fear that when he wakes up she won't be there. He wrapped his arms around her tightly, securely. This was the best he had felt for a long time. "Sleep well (y/n)," he murmured and he went back to sleep.

~~~***~~~
Lloyd smiled as he reached his arms over for a cuddle but found that her side of the bed was empty. For a second his stomach did a flip with worry and he sat up, looking for her. He glanced out the window and noticed that the sun was up. He sighed and shook his sun, sun was up which meant (y/n) was up. He sighed, he just wanted to sleep in and cuddle with the once person he loved most. But he knew better than to try and stop (y/n) once she had her mind set on something.
He got dressed into his green gi and walked outside. He looked around the yard but she wasn't anywhere. "(y/n)!" He called out.
"Boo," someone whispered into his ears behind him, he stumbled forward in fright, he turned around, he found (y/n) and she was currently laughing at him. "Scared you there Beans," she chuckled.
"Sure did," he sighed. Before he knew it the wind had picked him off the ground and threw him on the roof. He scrambled to find a footing before he fell off. (y/n) chuckled at him again as she nimbly leaped onto the roof and sat down, she reached her hand out and pulled him up next to her. Lloyd sighed, happily as he wrapped an arm around her waist, she leaned her head on his shoulder and wrapped an arm around his.
The sun was warm against their skin, the wind cool and calm, it was a tranquil morning. "Were you training this morning?" He asked.
"I know it seems strange, why train after we've saved the world from certain doom but coming back from the dead has made me appreciate the small things even more," she smiled.
