Blown Away (Lloyd Garmadon x Reader)

Island of Darkness

"The scrolls say there is a hidden temple on the island, it will give the ninja pure elemental powers, powers that can destroy the indestructible army," Misako explained as she rolled out the scroll.

"So you're saying we get to fight?" Cole asked, "I've got happy feet," he cheered.

"And you my son, here it is written: 'For once the Green Ninja finds the instrument of peace, he will strike it and know the power of the ultimate Spinjitzu Master'," Misako added.

"Ultimate spinjitzu master?" Lloyd repeated.

"It's means the you will be able to invoke the power of the golden dragon, an ancient fighting style only practiced by the first Spinjitzu master," Misako further added.

Lloyd cockily laughed, "jealous?" he teased his teammates.

"Wait a minute. This all sounds too good to be true, what's the catch?" Kai interjected.

"The catch is, that the Temple could be anywhere on the island, and all we have is this," Sensei Wu informed as he held out a golden trinket with a dragon etched in gold, a golden medallion.

"Then what are we waiting for?" Zane asked as the group stood to leave. (y/n) turned around as she noticed Lloyd wasn't coming.

"Not you, Lloyd," Sensei Wu ordered as he placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Aw seriously? Are we still doing this?" Lloyd complained.

"Wu is right, if you were to come across your father, it could prematurely start the final battle, we need to be at full strength before we take any risks," Misako lectured

Jay laughed cockily at Lloyd, "jealous?" he repeated in the same tone Lloyd had used before.

Lloyd scoffed.

He caught (y/n)'s wrist as she was about to set out of the bounty, she tilted her head curiously at him, "promise me you'll come back," he asked as he entwined his fingers with hers. "I know you can handle yourself I just can't imagine..." he shut his eyes and took a deep breath, "I care about you (y/n) and don't want to risk a tomorrow that you're not in," he confessed.

(y/n) smiled at him softly and kissed his cheek, which had stunned Lloyd into silence, "I remember you saying how we made a good team and I believe that should based on trust, so you'll just have to trust me to come back," she grinned as she turned to join the others. "But don't worry I'll promise to haunt you," she threw over her shoulder, she gave him a grin at the edge of the forest and threw her hood off and she vanished into the wilds of the dark island with the others.

Lloyd's cheek tingled as he touched the spot her lips touched his cheek. His turned red as he thought back to the sensation. He chuckled to himself as butterfly's tossed and turned in his stomach. "Damn you (y/n)," he muttered to himself.

Swiftly (y/n) jumped into the trees, as silent as a sparrow hunted by a hawk. She peaked over the tree tops so she could get a better look at Lord Garmadon's camp. She could see that they were mining something, she was no hawk so they would have to get closer. She silently jumped back to the ground, landing on her good leg. "Just through the trees," she informed the others. They nodded as she lead the way. As they reached a stone cliff, Kai cupped his hands and boosted (y/n) so she could grab the upped ledge, she then turned to pull the others up. They laid on their stomach's as they watched their enemy.

"Look this must be Garmadon's camp," Jay pointed out as the dark lord himself stepped into the clearing. The others rolled his eyes at Jays's slow realization.

"No, you think? I thought it was a take-out restaurant," Kai replied sarcastically.

"It looks like he's building something, but what?" (y/n) added.
