I know I'm skipping a lot in the four episodes but here's my reasoning. The sooner I get through this plot arc, the sooner I get to the Aspheera Arc and bring back (y/n)

"This is a lot to collect," Azan hissed as he noted down the materials on the list, "and not enough time," he groaned.
"What is the issue?" Jack asked.
"We have no way of summoning the other elemental Masters, the staff of wind will allow us to summon those of house Windsor but with the golden weapons gone, there is no way to summon the other elements," Azan explained as he gently flipped through the book.
Jack looked over his shoulder, "how can you understand what the book says?" he asked to him it was written in gibberish. Azan chuckled.
"It is written in a code that only temple guardians can understand and I'm afraid dear boy that is a skill you can access upon my passing, remember this house is built on its magic and tradition," Azan smiled. He refocused on the text, "it's saying that only the purest form of living elemental power will summon the elemental Masters of the past, for wind it is our staff."
"But we can't reach the top of Windsor Mountain, how do we get it?" Jack wondered. "Wait! Does it have to be a weapon, it says living power and (y/n)'s is being held in a crystal and there are living elemental Masters," Jack piped up.
"Hmm, you may be onto something, but we still need some ingredients, and we must work quickly, gather as many of you siblings and cousins and scatter to the far corners of the Ninjago and take this list," Azan said as he pressed a piece of paper into Jack's hand. "And when done meet me at Wu's Monastery, we have very little time," he hastened. "And make you all wear your ceremonial robes!" Azan called out. There was much he had to prepare.
Jack nodded staring at the list. Some seemed easy to get, red, light and dark blue, white, black, and grey. The next seemed a bit more difficult. The individual paints needed to be mixed with different kinds of... dirt. Dirt from the edge of a volcano. Dirt from ground scorched by lightning. Sand from the edge of the ocean. Dirt from the highest mountain and dirt from under a glacier and dirt eroded by wind. This was going to take forever, and they didn't have forever, Jack could tell from the black clouds that darkened the horizon.

Azan dragged his cart up the steps, a lot was in the crates needed to summon the elemental masters, magic like this had its rules. He eventually managed to drag the cart to its peak. Azan stepped outside as he heard the noise. "Azan?" Wu questioned.
Azan nodded, "hello Wu, there is much we have to do in this time of coming darkness," Azan said as he began to unload the crates.
"I don't understand?" Wu asked.
"To summon the previous elemental Masters, there are steps, I am simply fulfilling them," Azan said as he gestured to the book in his satchel. "And we must light the portal to the other side with candles," Azan said. Wu nodded as he began to help Azan with the task.
A rumble came from the sky, the bounty had returned. Wu looked to Azan, "I will see what news the Ninja have brought," he said. Azan nodded as he continues to line the courtyard with candles lighting them each time, he placed them. The monks at the monastery continued to help Azan.
The ninja stepped through the gates with sadness spread across their faces. "What is it?" Wu asked.
"It's Cole... he" Nya choked.
"He's gone," Jay finished.
Kai sighed, "he fell into the darkness."
"And the realm crystal?" Wu asked.
