Dead Man's Squall

Zane hadn't returned from the chase and his signal went offline. "Lloyd, we need to talk," Nya said as she laid a land on Lloyd's shoulder.

"I'll take over," Kai said as he took the spotlight from Lloyd. The two stood at the very tip of the bounty. Nya crossed her arms and frowned at Lloyd with concern.

"I don't trust Harumi," Nya admitted.

"You too?!" Lloyd gasped. "Harumi is a good person, she just lost her home and family, I don't know what's up you and (y/n) both being suspicious of her."

"Lloyd since when has (y/n) ever left without a note or a proper explanation of where she's going, the Sons of Garmadon somehow have the Mask of Deception," Nya reasoned. "I asked Harumi what had happened when she left, she said (y/n) took off on her dragon."

"So, (y/n) used her dragon for transportation all the time," Lloyd argued.

Nya scowled. "(y/n) is smarter than that, you know if she wanted to remain hidden, she wouldn't use a loud and powerful dragon when she has a quiet glider," Nya pointed out.

Lloyd leaned against the railing. She fiddled with the box in his pocket and shut his eyes tight. He remembered the glow in her eyes as he mentioned that he would propose, the ring of joy in her voice as she asked him to come back. "She's in trouble and you know it," Nya pointed out.

Lloyd sighed. In reality he was scared. He knew something was very off and it wasn't like (y/n). He didn't know how many times he had tried to send her a message through the coms, but she didn't pick up. "What am I supposed to do Nya, I can't just call Harumi out without having actual proof, what if (y/n) was taking the mask to the mountain and got ambushed," he theorized.

"Do you really think that (y/n), the Master of the skies, the fury of the wind, the girl that has literally wiped out an army would be easily ambushed?" Nya questioned.

"No," he scowled.

"Then we should be looking for her," Nya reasoned, "it's obvious that the Sons of Garmadon need her to get onto the Mountain, it's obvious that they have her," Nya reasoned.

"Cole was just in their base and the only thing he found was a baby, the Sons of Garmadon don't have her otherwise she would have been locked up with Cole," Lloyd pointed out, he sighed again, "No one knows where (y/n) is and at the moment we should be focusing on finding Zane," Lloyd reasoned as he walked away and joined the others.

Nya shook her head. Harumi had tricked them all. Nya knew something was up and she had something to do with (y/n)'s disappearance, she just had to prove it.

Zane was in bad shape when they found him. He was immediately airlifted onto the bounty. Zane was barely alive as they stood around the gurney, hoping that he would wake up.

"How bad is it?" Lloyd asked Pixal.

"He has extensive damage to all systems. His neural net and cognitive cores suffered severe failures," Pixal informed.

"Can you save him?" Nya asked.

"I've diverted power to critical life functions. But Zane will have to do most of the work. He must reconfigure his system and reboot himself."

"Isn't there anything we can do?" Harumi asked.

"We have to keep moving. Or the sons of Garmadon will find us. They'll do anything to get their hands on the child," Lloyd spoke up

"I just don't get how a baby can be a key," Kai wondered.

"I don't either but that's what they said. They called him the key to the third mask," Cole added.
