Blown Away (Lloyd Garmadon x Reader)

Shadow of Ice and Terror

A thundering roar shattered the sky, drawing the attention of Jay, Nya, (y/n) and Cole. A black shadow blocked the light, dragon flew over them, (y/n) used the wind to push them to shelter under a large ice form, she dove in after them, hoping the dragon didn't spot them. She shuddered in fear, the dragon was large enough to plunge the area into darkness, it was also large enough to swallow (y/n) and he dragon in one bite.

"What was that?" Jay shook.

"What do you think? A dragon!" (y/n) hissed. She could still hear it's cries in the distance, it truly made her blood run cold. She froze, her heart quickened with her breathing, she clutched her chest, she had fought many things yet the dragon made her fear for her life, she could basically feel it's fangs crush the life out of her.

"It's heading for the village," Cole cried out. Jay, Nya and Cole took off in a sprint yet (y/n) remain frozen her thoughts were consuming her, she couldn't move.

Nya noticed and ran back to her laying her hands on her shoulders, "come on (y/n) don't freeze on us now, we need you," Nya pleaded as she shook (y/n)'a shoulder.

(y/n) shook her head, swallowing the fear the made her bones shake. She nodded at Nya. The two took off in a sprint, (y/n) held her staff out and with a click her glider carried her into the air. "Be careful!" Nya yelled to (y/n).

(y/n) felt her heart leap and stomach drop as she flew over the mountains, the dragon was far ahead of her, it was crossing the plain of ice. She could hear the shards that leaped from its breath. She felt herself falter, "no, come on (y/n) where's that steel like nerve," she said to herself. The winds picked up carrying her to the village faster. She reached her hand out, the wind answered, it roared louder than the dragon.

It was no match for the winds and the great dragon was knocked out of the sky, falling away from the village, the fall was loud and strong enough to make everything rumble.

(y/n) landed in front of the village, she couldn't gain control of her breathing, everything scream at her to run. Her hands began to shake. A shadow was cast over the village as the dragon raised its head, shaking off the its confusion. It's bright blue eyes rested on (y/n). The overlord didn't make her tremble as much, the dragon made her feel like crumbling. She was terrified, she didn't know how she could beat it, it was simply too big.

It roared, (y/n)'s feet refused to obey her. Before she was frozen solid she was tackled out the way, "what is going on with you?!" Kai called out.

He glanced around at the villagers were frozen, Kai helped (y/n) to her feet, her eyes darted around her surroundings, Kai could tell that she was scared, "come on (y/n) get a grip, you're (y/n), the unrelenting storm, you don't tremble, you don't fear," Kai reminded. His eyes returned to the dragon as it pulled itself to its feet.

Kai grabbed her and pulled her to the roof before the dragons next attack could end them. They both watched in despair as the village chief, Sorla, vanished into the ice.

(y/n) shook her head again, she needed to feel her power, find her strength, no matter what situation that was what carried her. She raised her hand to the sky, the clouds blackened with thunder and lightning winds howled. "That's it (y/n) show that beast who it's messing with," Kai encouraged as she jumped from the roof, her dragon roared as it took to the sky.

The bigger dragon flapped it's wings and toon to the air, it turned around and dove towards the village. (y/n)'s dragon roared as she flew to meet it. "This thing could bite us in half," (y/n) gasped as he dragon twisted out of the way from its mouth. (y/n)'s dragon closed its wings and turned sharply, it caught itself and blasted sharp winds into the side of it's face before taking off again.
