MAYURI POV-

“I don’t really think I can get ready because I have no good clothes with me. All I have are a pair of Sasuke’s old clothes and these training clothes I am wearing right now.” I didn’t want to mention my ripped up Akatsuki kimono, bad enough I mentioned that duck ass.

“Well would you like to barrow any clothes? The maids can find something for you.”

“No thanks, I actually quite love these clothes. Black is my favorite.” He chuckled and nodded. “Right then let me just grab some stuff before we go. Why don’t you wait down stairs?” I nodded and walked out of the room towards the giant staircase.

KAI POV-

I went to my room smiling to myself that I am able to escort Mayuri-san on a date. I hope I can finally get her mind off of Sasuke who left her. Right as I was about to pass Kyoorie’s room she popped her head out and narrowed her eyes at me.

“So you waste your time taking her out on a date but can’t spend a little money on some of my diamonds?” I raised an eyebrow at her and walked right past her. “Get one yourself Kyoorie”, she huffed and shut her door. I got in my room and went to my closet to grab my wallet. “Hmm? Where is my wallet?” I looked around a bit and an anime vein popped out. How am I supposed to take her out without any money?!

I sighed in frustration, Kyoorie probably took it. I went back down stairs to meet up with her. “Shall we go Mayuri-san?” She twiddled with her hair and smiled up at me. “Sure.” I held her hand and guided her out the castle.

“This village is really pretty.” She stated. “So are you.” I gave her hand a squeeze which made her blush. She turned and her eyes met with a dango shop. “Let’s eat there.” I sighed nervously because I had no money. She studied the menu in awe, excited try almost every dango there. I scratched the back of my head trying to hide the little blush I had. “Er… Mayuri-san, I have to tell you something. I don’t really have any m..”

“Are you Kurochi Mayuri?!” The shop keeper gasped. Mayuri smiled at the lady and nodded. “You are such a big hero! Thank you so much for visiting here! What would you like to order, it’s all free for you Mayuri-sama.” She smirked, “No need to call me that; Mayuri-san is fine. Are you sure? I have some money on me.”

The lady shook her head furiously, “No no no! Please enjoy the dangos of your choice; you’ve done so much for us all. You came here so many times as a child when you were anbu so this is a thank you!” She chuckled and finally gave in for the offer.

After we ordered I smiled back at Mayuri-san as we took our seats. “You know I am the prince around here and they never offered me anything free. Not even Kyoorie, but she still gets some free stuff because she demands.” Mayuri-san laughed a little bit. “Hah thanks for taking me out though, how have you been?”

“My pleasure, things have been going great so far. We recently found some useful information about the Akatsuki. So we are planning to report to Konoha because they seem very well familiar with their organization and are most likely to be attacked by them.” Mayuri-san’s eyes sparked a bit of interest.

“Oh really? What did you learn?” I was about to answer her question but I got so lost in her eyes, especially that one that I don’t remember seeing. Was it because it was bound up?

“S-sorry, it’s just your eyes. They are so beautiful. I don’t get why you had to hide that one for so long, it is amazing. Unreal.” She blushed deeply, “It is different I know… but thanks. About the Akatsuki…?”
