18. Rookie

Inora was back in her apartment taking a shower. After she saw herself in the mirror, she noticed her neck was covered in hickies. "Damn you Uchiha." As much as she liked them she didnt want anyone seeing it so she started healing herself. She thought about what happened last night. She felt different in a good way. She didnt realise it but she was falling for the Uchiha and hard.

Few months later.

"Are you serious? You encountered one of the swordsmen of the hidden mist? And most importantly Sasuke awakened his Sharingan?" Inora asked with her jaw dropped to the floor. Kakashi sighed lazily. "It was supposed to be a C rank mission but it turned out to be a bit dangerous and they did well. Their teamwork has also improved."

"Woah. I would really like to test them out." She exclaimed. "Please be my guest. They are supposed to be having a day off but they have been nagging me to train them. I would be more than happy if you joined them instead of me" he said reading his Icha Icha paradise. "Seriously Kakashi you should get a girlfriend. You really cant live only with those books." She said. "Yeah yeah whatever." he said and poof. "That stupid pervert" Inora muttered.

"Hey guys" Inora said to the three of them waiting fot their sensei. They were practicing throwing kunais.

"Hey Inora. Have you seen Kakashi sensei? He is supposed to be training us." Naruto asked.

"Well.. about that. I am your sensei for today" she said smiling widely.

"He is just lazily reading his book doesnt he? How more irresponsible can he get?" Sakura started complaining.

"Easy there. I heard about your recent mission so I asked Kakashi if I could train you. And here I am" she said to them.

"So what you are saying is we win if we pop the ballon behind you and we can use any technique. Is that right?" Sakura asked.

"Exactly. So shall we begin?"

"Its really easy. I will win and you are going to treat us food. Okay?" Naruto said confidently.

"Dont worry Naruto. If one of you managed to pop this ballon I will treat all of you to ramen. If not you guys are treating me. You have 15 minutes and the time starts now."

Sasuke was the first to react. He threw a bunch of shurikens and Inora blocked all of them. Then all 3 of them started throwing shurikens from different directions. Inora was fast and she blocked every single one of them. Suddenly she saw a kunai with a paper bomb. She jumped back and saw Sasuke aiming a shuriken at the ballon. She threw her kunai to block it.

A few minutes later.

"I will win this no matter what. Multi shadow clone jutsu" Naruto said.

Inora smiled widely and took her special kunais out. 'This is going to be interesting' she thought. Over a 100 Narutos came for her. She threw her kunais teleporting and taking out all the shadow clones. There was a lot of 'oww' and 'poof'.

She saw Sakura getting near the balloon she immediately teleported near her holding a kunai to her throat. All 3 of them froze. "How about we make this game a little interesting? Your little friend here is my hostage now. So good luck rescuing her. You have like 10 minutes left" She said and tied Sakura to a post.

Naruto launched at her and she suddenly felt Sasuke behind her. She dodged his attack in time. She turned and saw it. The Sharingan. It reminded her of Itachi when he was a genin.

"Firestyle: FireBall jutsu"
They both launched together. She saw that they have improved a lot. Even though Sakura didnt do much she had a lot of control over her chakra. She was happy to see them growing right in front her eyes. 'Pop'. She saw Sasuke popping the balloon. He hid a shadow clone of himself? 'I must have been distracted thinking about Itachi' she thought to herself. And she saw Naruto going for Sakura and tringggg. Time up.

"Thank you for the food" they were all at Ichiraku. Inora ended up paying since they popped the balloon. "You did great guys. You all have improved considerably so keep training." She said them.

Timeskip. (Inora is now 18)

Inora had a day off. She just roamed the streets of Konoha and decided to get some dumplings. She saw Kakashi, Guy, Asuma and Kurenai there.

"Hey Inora. Come join us" Guy said. And they all sat there talking about random stuff.

A while later. "I cant believe you recommended rookies for the chunin exam." Guy said with dumplings in his mouth.

Inora suddenly looked at Kakashi not understanding what this was about. Kakashi understood the look she was giving him. "Yeah. I recommended them. But its their choice whether to join or not."  He said casually. "Do you think they are ready?" She asked."Yeah".

"When is the exam chunin exam?"

"In one month."

I am aware that is such a boring chapter.

I felt like I needed a filler chapter before going into main plot of the story so I squeezed my brain to come up with this.

Dont worry the upcoming chapters will be better. Keep reading to find out what will happen when Itachi and Kisame comes to the hidden leaf.
