Part 1

Naomi

Day 167

All of us here gathered in the throne room, waiting for Bracus to dismiss us all. He discontinued my punishment because I'd already done enough. Verantuvia is at peace again and the next thing to do is find Teketa's new lord, which is not our problem to fix. We were dragged here to what we have to do and we want to go back home.

"I have to be there for a short while, then I need to go back here," Blathnaid notifies.

"That's right, you got your coronation," Dominique says with a smile.

"Are you sure you want to do this, Blath?" Aelen asks, "We won't be able to meet you again if you do."

"That is technically incorrect," Bracus intervenes, walking into the throne room right beside Dominique.

"What do you mean? Wasn't it forbidden for mortals to hop dimensions, universes, and realms?"

"You're all Gods now; you can do that. For the Lesser Gods, it may be impossible without the help from Gods with Cosmic Power."

My dad sighs, rolls his eyes, and shakes his head. I think he is tired of all the pagan crap.

Bracus sounded so jealous when he said that. I guess he experiences fatigue from universe hopping. Hmm, maybe he was less formidable than Netedinark? But wait, was Netedinark a Lesser God? I guess he followed him here without any mana. His branches and his oblivion are his own thing. Wait a minute? There's cosmic energy in my universe? Can't he just recharge like a phone battery? I think he can or he didn't bother to show it because he thought we would be easy picks. Damn, this is so hard to keep straight!

"How can we get back home?" My father asks.

Bracus says with a grin. "I will take you back to your world." He morphs into his man form. Dominique chuckles as she sees my bewildered face. I can't help it.

"Isn't he the man that threw a rock at your window?" I ask.

"Yes." She says, softly chuckling.

"What an old romance pick-up line."

Bracus raises the brow before going back to the normal state. He kindly reminds me that he thought it would've been hard to get Dominique as his woman since she was human. He told me to keep my resting chick face before switching back to a human again. How many false forms does this guy have? If this wasn't a fantasy thing, he could've been a man with too many alternate accounts on Dominique's social media app.

"Remember Markus, Naomi, and Blathnaid, you're being observed by other Gods because of your gifts, so don't do anything stupid."

"Markus and Nao, mostly," Blathnaid smirks. All of us glare at her.

"Enough now, let's move on."

Everything around us seems groovy and distorted now. All we hear is a blast, but we feel nothing. Our surroundings are now black before we are in the driveway of the coven's destroyed house. Everything was there just as left it: roof collapsed and no longer covered in snow. In fact, the snow has melted, but it's raining and much warmer.

"Looks like time has passed," Blathnaid points to the house, "How can we rebuild this quickly unseen?"

I beam, "Freezing time. Remember what I did back in Year 11, Blath?"

"Yes."

"But how will that help us?" Aelen asks.

Blathnaid goes into deep thought before she suggests, "I have the power over the youth of the universe. Maybe I can reverse the age and restore it while Naomi freezes time?"
