The week has gone by quickly. Teketa usually settle down when it comes to the Blue Star Festival. It helped Aelen and I go about our days working as lords together. Aelen and I stayed the night at one of Gaeriscelleh's royal guest houses. It turns out that my friends and I have been sleeping in one of them before the war escalated. The war didn't blow up in a flash and end within a splinter of time. The war started with the Jersane Massacre. It was followed by the deteriorating relationship between Gaeriscelleh and Teketa. Since I ambushed Teketa's systems and jumbled it up worse than a Twizzler pushed the former Lord over the edge. He sent all of his armies to eliminate Bracus's empire once and for all. Shamingly, he failed and lost it all. But now I am rule-in-ing it for all of us. The ties have recovered. The ties within Gaeriscelleh are now stronger. I mean with Bracus and Dominique.

The Morphans howl as the two Alphas kissed when declared husband and wife. We all cheer ceremonially as well. The Gods, rulers in Verantuvia, and special guests are here to celebrate this wedding. The wedding has been phenomenal, crazier than an Earth wedding. It's more vocal than traditional weddings in my home world. I sat next to my father and Aelen. Markus, and Blathnaid are in the same row. It feels like we are in an opera. We are sitting high up in the building. Walls and pillars are made up of polished white stone.

"Hey father, why are you not up there doing their wedding?" I whisper to him teasingly.

"Sometimes...I just like being part of the crowd," he explains to the best of his ability, "I'm not a priest here after all."

"You can," I tell him. Heh, my dad spreading Christianity to Verantuvia might be a challenge.

"I'm surprised you aren't a bridesmaid, Nao," he says to me.

"Different customs here, dad. Besides, I think I drive Bracus and Domin insane enough."

"Like you do with me," he remarks.

Instead of firing back, "True."

The ballroom is packed with Morphans in their human forms. They are taller than a normal human, averaging seven feet. They are careful with every step they take during the dance. Their clothes look loose, comfortable, and elegant. Why can't we have clothes here on Earth? All of them range in many colours. All of them have an athletic build. They are running around a lot as Morphans. Their skin is ranges like humans, but clear without any hair, but their hair flowing down their backs compensates for it. Most of them stylishly put it up to keep it from getting caught on something.

I watch my father happily dance with my mother who has golden sparkles around her. He is dancing with an angel from Heaven. I sometimes think they did that while I was asleep when mom was alive.

Markus and Blathnaid are dancing with each other, but they are dancing near the corner of the room. The ballroom is a giant circle. They are far enough to not be close to bumping into someone else, but not far enough to be looking like outcasts. I dance with Aelen, we are next to my parents. It's hard to not look away from Aelen, but I can feel my palms getting sweaty. It's not hot here even with all these people.

"Imagine if your parents would be here," I say to him to break the silence.

"They would have a good time," he replies to me while twirling me around, "Maybe they will meet you someday."

"Do you need their blessing of approval for me?" I teasingly ask.

"Not really," he says casually, "They don't mind. They just want their son to have a lovely lady or guy by his side. They will also be happy for me ruling an empire." He pulls me closer to his body. Marriage is still out the answer and question for me. If Bracus and Dominique took five years to marry, it may take me ten, twenty, thirty, forty, fifty- thousand-million- trillion- Never?

He is so freaking warm! My heartbeat races with zig-zags. I can feel his hand tracing up on my back, sending a tinkle journey up. I stifle myself from squealing. It's so immense that I internally debate whether to pull away or stay. He grabs my hair and gently pulls it back. I don't feel any pain. I smile and laugh a bit as I look back at him.

"Do that again and see what happens," I say to him with a maniacal grin, "I would howl louder than the Morphans here."

"And embarrass the crap out of Bracus and Dominique," he adds with the same favour.

"When do I never?" I remark.

"Save it after the wedding," he replies, almost sounding like a warning. How about a happy reminder?

"I should move the thrones to see if they noticed," I plot.

"No, clean them."

I shake my head. "Let's place something weird on them."

"A whoopee cushion?"

My smile grows wider.

"Naomi!"

"No, super glue, what do you think I was planning?! Your mind just became di-"

Tink! Tink! Tink! Bracus bangs the wine glass with a spoon to get everyone's attention. "Alright, enough of the slow dancing. Time to dance with the faster beats!" He yells out before clapping his hands, "Music!"

Romantic music turns into fast-paced couple dance music where Jazz and a Fiesta have a baby together. Everyone else cheers and starts dancing to the fast music. I wince at Aelen without a smile. His face meets with a crap-eating grin.

"Think about the Blue Star Festival, my dear," he tells me as he grabs my other hands and the scariest thing of my life begins.

My goodness! I am doing worse than I did at the Blue Star Festival. I stumble and slip a couple of times as if I forgot my legs are here. If Aelen had a weak grip, I will be falling on the floor so much that people will think I am doing this on purpose. He is probably using his telekinesis to save my arse. Honestly, I will be better off dancing while lying on the floor. After four high-paced songs, I'm done for the day. I walk as I go to the deck that circles around the ballroom. The ballroom is on the fourth floor of the castle.

The warm-cool air blows straight into my face. The familiar ylang-ylang aroma soothes my issues minutes ago. Humans will quit smoking or vaping if the Earth smells nice as this world. I see dark clouds camouflaging the night sky, only to be revealed by lightning and thunder in the distance. It's probably a casual hurricane near the coast of Gaeriscelleh.

"Cooling off?" I spin around to see Aelen walking toward me.

"Yeah," I nod as our hands meet.

Our sides press together as we look out at the distant storm.

"The storm won't bother us as we go back," he says to me.

"We just teleport."

I then sigh, "Things are just too fast. It's already been five years."

"No worries," he whispers to me. I can feel his hand sneak up around my back. I do the same thing to him, gosh I feel shyer now, close to squealing, "We can take things slow. We have plenty of time."

"Endless," I say with a gentle smile.

His hand presses upon the back of my head, massaging. "Want to explore the universe when everything is close together?" He offers, "Befriend the other Gods. We can rule advanced civilizations and link them to the Teketa."

"We will make it more of our home. We can explore other universes too, Aelen. There are many."

"Then finally Earth will see civilised planets."

I chuckle at what he says. The thought of humans finally discovering a planet with complex life forms like themselves makes me laugh. Astronomers will have a long party when the first communication happens.

"Our people shall be with us as two great lords."

"Lord and his Lord Lady?"

I nod, "Lord and Lady."
