"She's strong, but she's exhausted."

NEWBEE NEGOTIATIONSBY THE TIME Jason woke her up, they were passing the border into Quebec. It was easier to fly in then to have to go through customs and check your passport and all that.
Arya could see the appeal of planes. The aesthetic of flying over a glowing city made Arya feel like she was in another world, one that wasn't as broken as her own. It was enough to get her mind off her stress for about five minutes before they were interrupted by two storm spirits with rather large looking swords.
Arya cursed herself for not having a ranged weapon on her. A trident and two measly daggers wasn't sufficient for fighting when you were flying in the air. That's why Percy and her had mutually split up their pets. He usually took Blackjack and Arya most of the time took Mrs. O'Leary.
Festus was ready to blow the spirits out of the sky, but Leo calmed him down. The spirits came closer only for Arya to realize they weren't spirits at all. Instead they're hair and skin looked as pale as snow, their swords were made purely of ice, and the only semblance of color on them was their magnificent purple wings. Both of them looked about Arya's age, but pulled straight from the 80's, mullets and everything. Arya thought it was an embarrassing look to be sporting but who was she to judge someone else's style.
They floated in front of the dragon, swords ready to attack.
"No clearance." The bigger one grunted.
She was honestly surprised he could get the words out with the amount of teeth he was missing in his mouth.
"You have no flight plan on file. This is restricted airspace." The other one said. He had his chest puffed out with the annoying arrogance that men had when they thought they were flirting.
"Destroy them?" The one in the hockey Jersey with the missing teeth asked.
Jason summoned his sword, Arya was holding out her glare was more than enough.
She listened to their long and rather annoying conversation about who the two were. Long story short, the one with no teeth was Cal, he couldn't use big words and he liked hockey. The other was Zethes, he thought he was a ladies man who was far more powerful than he actually was. They both were brothers, and demigod sons of Boreas. Piper, with more fake politeness than even Annabeth could have managed, convinced the flying boys that the quest crew needed an emergency landing. Her charmspeak worked so well, they immediately took them into Boareas' hideout which occupied the top of the largest building in Quebec.
"Any idea what we're gonna have to deal with?" Jason leaned back and muttered to Arya, hand still uneasily opening and closing over his coin.
She shook her head, only to realize Jason was in front of her. Arya cleared her throat from embarrassment. "Unfortunately most beings who have been around awhile think they're hot stuff, these two shouldn't be hard to take down. However, we're going into a homebase where I imagine we'll be greatly outnumbered, and they will have the protection of an annoying god."
