Anyone who knows Arya Jackson for more than five minutes knows her opinion of the world, and demigods not so fair place in it. Unfortunately, since the war Arya isn't that easy to get to know. To most she's little more than a legend.

Chapter 4.
Generalizations
THE STRESS WAS ALREADY SETTING IN. With Jason out of commission, the boat was badly damaged, and the high tension between the Greeks and the Romans after New Rome was fired on.
From what Ace heard from Percy and Annabeth, it was Leo, but somehow wasn't? Ace wanted to believe that Gaia was already messing with them through her tricks, Leo seemed harmless enough. Ace's mood was still down after leaving New Rome.
Arya had been right, he wasn't sure if I would ever be forgiven.
They were each given a room. Ace let Frank and Hazel claim there's first. He took one of the two remaining cabins at the end. It wasn't lost on him that this was the first room he would have that was his own. He highly doubted he would have the time or energy to decorate it though.
Ace shrugged his bag off his shoulders and tossed it onto the bed. He had only gotten a brief look earlier when he was pulling out his healing stuff for Jason. It seemed Skylar had overpacked for him. He would worry about all of that later. Ace then slid the swords off his back and leaned them up against the wall. He felt unbalanced with them for long periods of time.
Ace knew he should never be defenseless and therefore made the active decision to keep his bow slung on his back.
In the moment of calm and silence Ace let out a soft sigh, rubbing his hands over his face. Cato's last words echoing in Ace's head like he was standing beside him; You'll be a traitor. Six weeks, don't throw it all away. This isn't you. I didn't think you'd up and leave the first chance you got.
Cato and Ace had fought before. They were polar opposite brothers. It was bound to happen. Most of them were small and easily forgotten. Some of them spanned days or weeks and usually ended with Cyrus' intervention or one of them realizing they were wrong. Only once did a fight cause them to say things to each other that they didn't mean. Well, twice now. The first time, Cato realized he was in the wrong, and as a 'forgive me' present, Ace's beloved journal came into his hands.
Ace imagined this fight wouldn't end with a 'forgive me' gift. Honestly, he would be lucky if it ended at all. Certain parts of the legion Ace didn't agree with, but he was forever loyal to them. That was until now. The minute Frank pulled Ace off the ground he was now an enemy, a traitor. Something that would ruin the Valenti name.
