Anyone who knows Arya Jackson for more than five minutes knows her opinion of the world, and demigods not so fair place in it. Unfortunately, since the war Arya isn't that easy to get to know. To most she's little more than a legend.

No Time For This (Or Anything Really)
AYRA KNEW SOMETHING WAS AMISS from the minute that Hazel woke up screaming in her cabin.
Twenty-four hours without anything happening on a quest wasn't normal. Something was coming, and she wasn't sure that she wanted to know what it was. Most of the day was spent with Hazel attempting to teach her how to control her magic for the second day in a row. Nothing good was coming off of it. Arya was much better with physical objects, and it didn't help that Arya knew so little about how magic actually worked that teaching was seemingly not in her wheelhouse.
Since Hazel's victory yesterday in getting the cup to disappear she hadn't been able to do it again or anything else for that matter. Arya tried to get the girl to take a break a million different times citing that overworking would result in nothing, but Hazel was stubborn and determined. A dangerous combination.
So Arya sat with her as the sun started on one side of the ship and went to the other.
The few times they did take short breaks Arya was leaning over the side of the ship listening for the wildlife to inform her if something was coming. She was paranoid, and she knew that but her years have taught her it's far better to be cautious than to be caught off guard.
Hazel called for a longer break in the early afternoon when Frank made his way onto the deck. Arya had gone into the engine room to see how Leo's upgrades were coming, only to join in an already loaded conversation between Jason, Ace, Leo, and Piper about what they would possibly be doing in another life where they weren't all demigods.
Arya was mystified by Piper's explanation of online school while following her dad around from movie set to movie set exploring every single city they stayed in by just deciding to go left or right at every intersection that stood in their path.
Arya was so engrossed that she didn't note the shift in currents, or the animals trying to reach out to her. Not until she lurched hard sideways throwing her into one of the metal control panels and nearly ripping down three cords in the process.
A cuss left her mouth as she rammed her fist into the panel. Then she took off back onto deck, trident in hand, the other three following behind her with weapons drawn.
What they came to see made even Arya stumble in her footsteps.
A turtle the size of an island was chewing on some wood that looked an awful lot like the oars of the ship in its mouth. The turtle was easily three times the size of the boat, its eyes alone as large as a hot tub to fit eight.
