Anyone who knows Arya Jackson for more than five minutes knows her opinion of the world, and demigods not so fair place in it. Unfortunately, since the war Arya isn't that easy to get to know. To most she's little more than a legend.

Dinner Time Mistakes
ACE WAS STARTING TO GET GOOD at understanding of how the ship worked. It helped that he spent most of the morning helping Leo do major repairs and encouraged questions.
When Arya had thrown herself overboard Ace ran over immediately to the haul and messed with anything he could that would get the ship to halt and within a minute or so the giant machine was stopped dead on the water with the anchor down. Unfortunately the tape and glue that was holding the ship together came undone at his emergency stop and he spent the next hours using his limited knowledge to keep the ship afloat.
Now that Percy remembered Ayra, Ace could tell how much they loved each other. He was nearly driving himself to a panic attack every time that he emerged from the water without any sign of his sister. It was deeper than just a concern for well being, there was guilt and frustration along with it. Ace wasn't sure if he liked the dark look that floated across Percy's face whenever he got too frustrated. if it wasn't for Annabeth...
They came back as the sun was rising. Before he had time to think his actions through he was rushing over to Arya, and then when he realized what he was doing he changed course to head for Frank and Hazel.
Leo had sent her off with Percy to make repairs on the outside of the ship. An easy job that they couldn't do until Leo and Ace were done so both of them went off to take a nap until about mid-day.
Between the speed at which the boat was rowing, and the non-stop adventures that they had all been through yesterday, none of them had much to do today. The first true ounce of downtime they had.
Wanting to get this time getting to know the people that he was spending all of his time with, they spent a lot of the afternoon talking about their upbringings. Obviously he had known Frank, Hazel, Jason and his own. He found himself gripped onto the others, Annabeth and running away from home at six and finding two runaways to travel with, Leo being in and out of foster homes, Piper's movie star father and her want for his attention.
Each story seemed to paint a clear picture on why his companions were the way they are.
Arya and Percy joined them eventually where he shared about his step-dad that got turned to stone, his lovely mother, and the constant changing of schools.
Once he was done none of them moved. Hazel boldly asked Arya to share some of her childhood and the rest of the crew shared a look of concern and refusal to look at Arya, hoping the daughter of Posideon would be kind to Hazel when she told her 'no'. The silence seemed insurmountable.
