Thanks for the Visit!

ARYA JACKSON wasn't a fan of conflicting emotions. They had only ever put her in insurmountable trouble. Especially when they rendered her indecisive on a situation. To make matters worse, these conflicting feelings had been in her head and chest since she took her first step on the finished boat two days ago. Which was two days later than Leo had promised her.

She had packed early for once. Actually ready to go when the skinny boy knocked on Arya's door and told her their departure would be delayed by a day or two. Jason and Piper were standing behind him to back up. Even they were keeping her distance.

The feelings started with nerves. Arya originally thought it was for the ship and if that was going to work or not. That quickly melted away. She would trust Leo to build anything out of nothing. She knew the ship was going to work. Her nerves were coming from two other places, one, whether or not Percy had gained his memory back, and the idea that the inevitable was here again. Once the Romans were convinced to come with the Greeks, then they all would be fighting to save the world.

On top of that, Arya's last meeting on Olympus had not gone over well in the slightest. It was looking like the promised help from the gods was going to be far more trouble than anyone knew. She hadn't told anyone about the little predicament yet, morale had been so high and Arya couldn't bring herself.

Now here they were, and Percy had remembered Arya. Not only did he remember her, he was so upset that he had forgotten his sister in the first place. Arya was thrilled, but she couldn't let it overcome her. Not when they were within a new territory. Especially one where the people didn't trust them. Even when Arya took a single step she could feel hundreds of eyes on her. She didn't like being watched, being judged.

Being on high alert wasn't going away anytime soon. It started off with the sheer amount of campers that were waiting for the Greeks when they descended. It was probably double what they had at Camp Half-Blood. Then when they descended onto the ground, Arya could see that the bodies were made up of more than teenagers. All around her stood adults, children, campers. All donning the SPQR tattoo that Jason, and now Percy seemed to have.

Arya knew about legacies. She knew about New Rome customs. Jason had filled her in about his way of life, or at least what he could remember. Arya guessed none of it really sank in until it was right in front of her.
